  1. Woh! This is awesome! You did a great job! Makes me super happy, I love this ship and the Dark Forces series.
  2. Very Cool! Makes me want to finish my interior, check it out: http://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/92949-hwk-290-stats-and-interior-design/#entry901001 Another thing I want to add is I noticed there is some sort of control panel that kyle uses, above his head. I am trying to picture what this could be. 10:19 in this video:
  3. Obi-Wan: For over a thousand generations, the Jedi knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic... before the dark times... before the empire.
  4. What would be the possibly be like for alien humanoid species. Perhaps for example a bothan from star wars look a like with a sci fi blaster rifle. Hey there! We're definitely going to steer very clear of any licensed properties that we don't have the rights to. Yes I know that, I was not very clear. I meant creating generic humanoid alien creatures like cat people, dog people, lion people weird stuff like that. I used bothans as an example as they are kind of like a dog head on a human body. I would imagine your artist could create intresting looking sci fi creatures to use for any kind of sci fi game.
  5. My character is a Bothan Explorer that is part of a group called The Talus Ranger Corps.
  6. It is comparable to fantasy flight's detailed x-wing minatures is it not?

  8. YES! This is what I have been hoping for since I have heard of 3D printing technology. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroforge/customizable-3d-printed-tabletop-miniatures
  9. With 3d printing these days I would like to see a character generator like star wars galaxies that can make unique characters. then be printable in different poses and equipment.
  10. In SWG they had built the two ships to scale. You could also reference the interiors they made if anyone wanted to go crazy building a full interior.
  11. "You may dispense with the pleasantries, Commander. I'm here to put you back on schedule."
  12. Woh the X-Wing it comes with looks way more detailed than what I got from the main game.
  13. SWG had a cool helmet design. http://swg.wikia.com/wiki/Rebel_Ace_Fighter_Helmet
  14. Yes indeed, I tried to make the best use of the limited space. The way I figure most of the engine components are outside already so I utilized that space in the rear that the cutaway used for machinery. Took inspiration from modern aircraft.
  15. HWK-290 Silhouette 3 Speed 4 Handling +1 Armor 2 Hull Trauma Threshold 16 System Strain Threshold 15 Crew: Pilot/Co-pilot Passenger Capacity: 4 Consumables: 1 month Hyperdrive: Primary Class 2 Backup: Class 15 Defense: Fore 0 Aft 1 Encumbrance Capacity:30 Hard Points:3 Laser Cannons Linked 1 So this is what I came up with. I used the fantasy flight miniature as a guide and designed the interior based loosely on submarine and Cessna interior designs. Entry and exit is through the cockpit windows that lift up, and through a dorsal topside hatch accessible by ladder. Since this is a more utilitarian design it made more sense make things as functional as possible. The left design is more accurate to the actual available space. The right design is too wide in the rear. The ship has limited overhead cargo space, airplane style. The rear room is a multipurpose galley/cabin/engine room and there are folding bunks the come out of the wall to total of 4 bunks. I made a decontamination shower/head since this was directly mentioned in Dark Forces. I imagine that these rear areas can be converted to more cargo space or passenger space. The Cessna caravan is slightly smaller than this ship and can hold 8 passengers. Floor panels lift up for system access/repairs. Any thoughts, suggestions?
