  3. All good regarding Gamling PsychoRocka. Would be happy with a Fili/Kili merge or a Gamling honorable mention. Thanks for creating this unique ally championship. 4. Yes. To your second question, if you are still looking for an answer? If Hammersmith was written like Galadriel, then no... but he isn't and his response is still valid with a very good tail as he just needs to get into play to use his response...
  5. glad I wasn't the only one that still couldn't spot the autofail...
  6. Yes, this is true... but you have to open each individual one and search until you find the the reference you were looking for, if you are playing outside of the cycle it first showed up in.. as once a new keyword is defined it can show up in subsequent quests/cycles... and if I don't remember which set the new rule/keyword first appeared in it can be rather annoying. Um, I'm pretty sure this isn't true - keywords used in any given quest are defined either in the rulesheet for that quest or the rulesheet for the deluxe expansion for that cycle - thus ensuring that you can't have a card which has a keyword on it without also having the definition of that keyword. There aren't many keywords which have appeared in more than one quest cycle anyway. okay cool. - I wasn't sure that this was always the case... but happy to be proven wrong, especially as it limits searching. I would still like a single online FFG maintained document which I could search for all rules/faq
  7. Seldom think about adding ally Gandalf when i'm playing around with a new decks. If I have leadership hero(es) I might... but he hasn't made the cut recently... honesty forget there even is an ally Gandalf, (more than often than I remember at least)... I blame the single sphere filters
  8. So if FFG were to create a single file that I could search for everything only once, I would be very happy!
  9. Good Plan... by the way... there are a number of terrific blogs & podcasts that are great for new and old players... https://hallofbeorn.wordpress.com/ is one of them... and half way down the right hand side many more are listed... probably not all. A number of members have their blog links in their signatures... Also there are plenty of friendly folks here that are happy to answer questions, offer advice.... Hope you have fun playing! Ps (The learning curve and difficulty level can be a very challenging... and its quite normal to lose a lot of games)
  10. I wish that FFG would release a PDF rule book with all FAQ changes and all the insert rules in it. (guess I just need a better filling system)
