  1. Doo itt! I have 0 intentions of modding the exterior to match it, but I am planning on lighting mine up purple and then painting it to match this scheme. But I'm sure you can just add a bit of plasticard here and a dab of green stuff there and viola! The Banshee comes to life! Hmm the problem I see is it seems everything is slightly different... the back doesn't come out as two prongs on the Ketsu version either.
  2. What did you run here... I tried to build something like this yesterday but couldn't fit Roo in so dumped in Serissu instead.
  3. Yep, this is the one I'm interested in as I was thinking of running something similar yesterday, and will be painting my Party Bus in the next couple of days.
  4. A Xenomorph down a dark alley... wait you mean on the table in X-Wing... hmm... not sure I like seeing new things... so the same thing every week?
  5. I would be mad to try wouldn't I... Those Nacelles look so different.. and I would have to saw into the front to put in those intakes.
  6. Hmmm... Are we just including this Universe, or any of the alternative trouser legs of time?
  7. Have Wave 10 released so people can buy and try them? I think this is where FFG have went wrong with the Quad Jumper... They have not shipped me 2 express so I can play them.
  8. TBH I probably won't touch it till the Ren-Bat comes out... then I'll be able to field an interesting First Order Fleet.
  9. What I really want to know is what FFG are going to do about the Quadjumper... I've yet to see anyone put one down on the table, and I doubt we will see anyone using one at worlds... FIX IT NOW!
  10. I've yet to see anyone put the Quad Jumper on the table, and I'm pretty sure we won't see them at worlds... What do you think we need to do to get them to see use?
  11. Well you already have the Shadowcaster with 2 Illicit slots. So I'm not sure a YV-666 with 2 would be an issue, seeing you are losing most of the YV-666 advantage (the fact it can mix and match crew) by using most of it's crew. On a Huge ship I can see the problem. Inertial Dampers seems the biggest one, Burnout Slam too.
  12. My impressions are that we are already past that point. Meta has already adapted to Defenders, as we have seen in the recent UK events... (...) Nope, we are just in that point I don't say they are unbeatable, or there is only one way to handle them. It's just every competitive player while building tournament rooster thinks about Defenders. Not abut TLT, not about stress, not about Ion, not about arc doing, not about alpha strike.... They think how to beat x/7 Defenders. Rest is just an addition. Defenders are so strong that no matter what you bring to the table they have upper hand. Yet they influence Meta in lighter way than Torp Scouts, as they don't kick anything particular out of the play as opposed to Scouts killed regen rebels. They are just overall better than anything else. But is that because we are coming out of the Torp Scout meta, so TLT, Stress, Ion and other lists haven't bounced back from being suppressed by Torps? Whereas X7s worked fine in the Torp Scout meta?
  13. TBH 2 crew slots would probably be enough... I wouldn't be against Jabba giving an extra Illicit slot as part of his abilities to represent extra modification to the ship he was in. So effectively you are paying a crew slot, and then swapping the second crew slot for an illicit, that would be in character and mean you don't end up having one card taking up most of your slots.
  14. It was the one that came to mind when it came to RPGs. there was a whole lot of argument about the size of the HWK-290 due to an RPG getting it very wrong at one point and that incorrect value getting copied over and over. But even then I really don't think there is a whole lot of room in the Jumpmaster. As I said look at the model part of the area that is shown as the storage compartment and Dengar's quarters in your diagram can't be as the cowling is off on the model and you can see the engine is filling that space, and I'm pretty sure by the design that the engine goes all the way up to the cab. Being a large ship also doesn't mean that it's got lots of room inside, just that it is large, for example the IG-2000 can't take crew at all as it's really a large interceptor. I totally agree however that there would be enough room for a young Hutt to pilot it. But Jabba is an old Hutt, to fond of his comforts, and I can't see Dengar (or whatever pilot) fitting in with Jabba. If you look at the ships that get 2 crew, Ren-Bat, Shuttle, Decimator, Ghost, YT-1300, YV-666 they all have decent size storage areas that could be easily set up to house a Hutt in comfort. And I'm pretty sure that room would be nicely modified with all the best things.. though I doubt even a YV-666 has room for a Rancor pit.
  15. I'm not sure having painted the thing how true this image is. It's from a RPG and RPGs have brought us such wonders as this They tend to exagerate open spaces as it gives players somewhere to do things. if you look at the model, I doubt it has any more than a couple of bunk beds directly behind the cab, as there is an area with the engine cowling off not far behind the cab.
  16. 20 may be an exaggeration, I just guesstimated how many Carrie Fishers would fit into him (and I reckoned he could eat around 20). But even then I really can't see Jabba being cramped, if he traveled anywhere it would be with room, some hangers on etc. I can't see Jabba going out for a fight, any more than I can see the Emperor flying around dealing with Rebel threats... So if he is in it he's either going to be in his palace barge huge ship, or in something like the YV-666 in transit between planets. With the Jumpmaster the cockpit is all there really is.
  17. Even then I'm not sure most bounty hunter ships are really designed to have a Slug the size of 20 people fitted into a cramped cockpit. The cockpit on the Jumpmaster for example isn't that big really, most of that ship is engine. And if the Emperor + Guards is 2 slots.... Jabba + entourage most definitely should be.
  18. Now that you mention it (Nth time in this thread) I've been in the camp that thinks Jabba should be two crew slots, but now that I think more on the context, no matter what Jabba's ship it would be customized, made to fit him, so it should be one crew slot and no base modification upgrade allowed. Seriously if anyone has the credits and resources to customize any ship it's Jabba the Hutt. By that logic... Jabba in a Scyk, he can afford to modify it. Your trolling is just getting stupider and stupider. Your "I'm not in my 20s but really a 10 year old" routine is wearing thin. I don't follow you around mocking every post you make, it's getting infantile. The Scyk has no crew slot, you're too ready/eager to get dumb to notice we were talking about how many crew slots Jabba should take up and the Scyk has none. As I've said before you should stick to smashing your miniatures to make debris pieces, it's what you're best at. Yes I was being a bit factious I agree. But the point still stands, would Jabba in a HWK-290 make sense. or Jabba in a G1-A... Both those ships are tiny. Jabba generally has servants and luxuries, can you see him hanging out in a ship which only barely fits 2 people and has beds slotted in over the engines. I think it is only right that for a big character with a big effect that he's limited to only the biggest of ships.

  20. Punisher.... SO UGLY!!!! Gunboat... WOOT!
  21. I popped it on Ventris last game, 1pt card, did 2 hits over the course of the game.. that was 1/6 of the enemy forces hits just from that. OK I could have TL'd instead, and I did a few times, but actually, BMST is a guaranteed 'attack' if you are in range after you move, you can't guarantee whether Fel will even be in arc to shoot when he moves at PS9.
  22. I agree BMST is great when it's hard to get through a lot of defense dice, but against something with average low defense dice, TL + Focus is better. Saying that the ability to use BMST out of arc means it doesn't really hurt at 1pt popping it in if you have a slot.
  23. The impossible has happened..... Obviously next is the Gunboat getting confirmed as SWX58
  24. Yeah me too, currently PS 2, 2, 4/6 & 6 it works fine. In fact I want to be moving before Aces because I can see where they are going and block them so they don't get most of their defense with 4-Lom.
