    Price Hikes and Sold out

I ordered SoN from my FLGS yesterday. They said it was in stock and would arrive Friday. It appears to be in stock on this website as well. The base game is out of stock, but that's not such a big surprise right after Christmas.

    Wraith's possession question

If a wraith unit rolls two crowns against an adjacent enemy unit, can it swap locations twice, ending up in its original position but protected from counter attack?

    Side quest difficulty

This was my experience. If we won a side quest we would get more gold and fame than if we lost a side quest. But we would at least get some gold if we lost. So to maximize our gold we would attempt a side quest and abandon it if it looked like we would get knocked out, for example the boss would sometimes have a lot of extra hit points and by the time we'd face her we were already low on health. We could then do a main story quest without having to visit the city because our morale would be maxed. That way we could fit in an extra side quest here and there. I don't think it was really game changing strategy but we got some benefit. I want to add that the real benefit of abandoning a quest we knew we would lose was in real life morale. It helped prevent game burn out for us. We knew we lost so we'd call it a night, get some gold and try again the next day.

    Side quest difficulty

Our SOP for all RTL quests is too keep the heroes moving and leave the monsters behind. I must say in general we found the side quests a bit tougher than the story quests. The good news is you can abandon a side quest and get the same reward you would have had for losing it. In some cases it saved us morale and a city visit.

    Seeds of Corruption!!!

I don't own SoN but I've got a gift certificate to my FLGS burning a hole in my pocket!

Should I add it all right now??? :)

I don't think adding it mid campaign will change anything. You could start a Delve though...

    Road to Legend Bug Report

I came across the same thing (see above)It seems that if you quit the app after deselecting content then re-launch you will only get the content you should. Crazy thing is I had the same bug in Mansions of Madness. I bet quitting that app after re selecting fixes it as well. Thanks.

    Road to Legend Bug Report

I played a game of Delve where tiles and monsters not in the collection came up. Specifically I had deselected LotW and LoR before starting a game of Delve. During the character set up phase no LotW nor LoR characters were available. During the 3rd stage we were asked to set up 26b, 39b, & 43b maps, Araid as a boss, and cursed conditions, all of which I think come from LoR.
  10. That code puzzle is based off a game from the 70's called Mastermind. As you can imagine it was popular with mathematicians and they discovered a few tricks for solving it. If your interested check out http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Mastermind.htmlon some techniques.

    The Delve

It might in the log. You'd have to scroll to the end of every week. I record all my games on BGG, so i basically have a mini diary of all my plays.

Delve asking for tiles I don't have

I guess it's a good thing I don't have time to try it out for a bit.

    The Delve

Just adding my $.02... I thought Kindred Fire was a great campaign with lots of quests and it was super cool that FFG gave it away for free. I don't know if I'm just a lame player or some people in this thread are uber, but we found the campaign fun and challenging on normal. We played a total of 13 quests and won 8. After completing the final quest, my wife turned to me and said "I'd play that again". So $5 for more fun seems like a deal to me. Heck it costs five times that for us to go out to the movies. Just saying...
  15. Its not so much the map tiles that come up, it's the monsters. So you potentially have to bring along quite a bit of stuff.
