  5. I'm running a Leia kit tournament on July 20th in Ypsilanti. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1434224510184862
  6. We had a small group of locals. It was fairly casual, but a lot of fun. I ended up winning with a Hoth LS and Hoth DS. F4A still has a season 2 (Hoth playmat) kit around. I'll also have the new Leia Playmat kit when they drop in July. After May craziness (I'm going to 3 regionals), I'm hoping to put together another event.
  7. X-Wing Tourney at Fun 4 All in Ypsilanti 5/10 at 1pm! Prizes will be based on attendance and pulled from season 3 and 2014-1 kits. Entry fee $5, or free with purchase of a ship. https://www.google.c...8e502db48b225a0
  8. Yes. One trick for Red Two is planning for an unopposed bonus to finish off the objective, because that happens after all strikes so Red Two is ready after the engagement.
  9. It was great meeting folks and good games! Congrats to Sarah.
  10. Replace all edge battles with dance battles.
  11. Is it just open play Friday nights? Do you guys bust out Game Night kits? I'm in town for the regional.
  12. I think it is closer to 17 feet long. Doh! I looked up the length of an Imperial II-class frigate. The full star destroyer is 4x that.
  13. At the same scale as the standard ships, an Imperial II destroyer is almost 5 feet long. If they used the same relative as the new GR-75, it would be about 4.5x as long as the transport. I would like to see turret rules or maps for Epic play that use destroyer mechanics. A 3x6 game mat and terrain/turrets for a destroyer would be cool.
  14. A generous player has donated a custom playmat with McQuarrie ATAT art for a random participant to win!
