An update to this Meta thread.

 

We now have a handful of players in the New Orleans who are playing mainly melee with decks built from one player's full collection.

 

There is also one player in the Baton Rouge area who is looking for a meta and we are trying to bridge the distance between the two metas.

I just picked up Arkham Horror this week. Coming from TCG/LCG background. Reasons I picked AH over other board games (well, not over AGoT Board Game, cause I picked that up, too):

 

1) Wanted a solo-able board game that scales to multi-player and has expansions.

2) The theme.

3) Fantasy Flight quality.

4) The established history and player-base of the game.

Looking for fellow AGoT players in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge or Southern Mississippi area for regular meetups, preferably at either +1 Gaming or Go4Games in Metairie. Currently have around 3 players who can meet regularly, including myself.
