I used to live by Xi-7's as well. but again, It's not really an Imperial vs Imperial meta for me locally, and in the age of Liberty class cruisers for the Rebs, Xi-7's lose a lot of the draw from me. -

I play only Imperial, and here is the list I run.. that I have yet to lose with Commander: Motti ISD-II (120) Avenger (5) SW-7 Ion batteries (5) Electronic counter-Measures (7) Gunnery Team (7) ISD-II (120) Relentless (3) Electronic counter-measures (7) Overload Pulse (8) Gunnery team (7) Squadrons: (Your left with about 92 points for this section, but this is my selection) Tie Advanced (12) Tie Advanced (12) Soontir Fel (18) Tie Interceptor (11) Howlrunner (16) Tie Fighter (8) Tie Fighter (8) Total: 393 points. Leaving a nice bid. I know that a lot of people will tell you that more ships for more activations, perhaps even you as a Rebel player will agree with that, I do not. I feel that my two ISD's can out tank, most of what you'll see. Again I have yet to lose with this list. Anyway, I use the Relentless to be the anvil hence the overload pulse. Having two command dials with the title helps with command flexibility, where Avenger AKA: "The Hammer" comes in and finishes off the overload pulsed enemy. Gunnery teams helps some with allowing a potential double strike depending of course on dice rolling.. always the dice. Your fighter component Is I feel enough to deal with moderate amount of enemy fighter support. It wont stop a heavy fighter build, but it will in the very least delay those pesky fighters a turn, maybe two. In a moderate fighter list.. say A-wings, or X-wings and a handful of B-wings You'll have more than enough fighters to deal with that. I don't typically deal with Imperial vs Imperial in my meta, But I'm sure you'll just tie up their fighters just as well. -

Oh I don't know I tend to have a lot of success with this build. Motti-24 ISD-II - 120 Avenger- 5 Gunnery Team-7 E.C.M.- 7 SW-7 Ion Batteries- 5 ISD-II -120 Relentless- 3 Gunnery team- 7 E.C.M.- 7 SW-7 Ion Batteries- 5 Ships-310 points Leaving 90 points for fighters, or another ship depending on preference.

I expect we will see a Thrawn Admiral card.. And I expect it's going to have some legendary text on it, because that's the kind of Admiral he is. But we are going to have to pay for it. I expect he's going to be the most expensive admiral for what he's going to do.. clock in at somewhere between 40-45 points. That's my guess. -

Is it just me or does anyone else feel a bit let down by just two ships in this coming wave. We waited almost an entire year since the wave two announcement to see what would come in wave three... and this is all we get?

that's what I figured, but I had one of my group who plays Jyn say that the mission was fine up to that point. After that point, he feels the game is ruined for him now, that it doesn't feel balanced. I tried to explain having Solo wait a round so he could open the door and then move back out of line of sight, but to no avail.

So tonight my group played "sorry about the mess", to attempt to gain Solo as an ally. Well It started out with Han taking some small arms fire from some Stormie's as they moved toward the door. He was at 8 health when he opend the door, but here is the dispute. The options for me as the Imperial were to Let Gerrin (Imperial Officer) interrupt to move and shot, after Han took his shot at the officer, or deploy the E-web in the red deployment zone. I choose the E-Web, which then went since Han moved to the door, and used an action to open said door. We then went through the steps.. threat, Han shoots, and then either E-web, or Officer shoots Han. Well, choosing the E-web resulted in Han getting gunned down, I was using Military might class deck, so I exhausted the card that lets me focus an Imperial figure for an attack, and lite Han up, rolling out 9 damage to him to which he only rolled 1 defense result. I murdered him. The argument was, is that fair, and should I have been allowed to activate the E-web then? Since to my hero players it just seemed like there was only really a 1 in 6 chance to survive that if Han rolled a full evade result. Just wondering what you all think about that particular side mission?

Is there an option to get trays with four defense token slots for ISD's and MC80's?

Returning to Armada... advice sought

I would definitely look at taking Admiral Motti.. If you plan on running a ISD-II and a Vic-II then Motti.. that survivability is to awesome to pass up. -
How is your community holding up?

My local Armada scene is also dying. X-wing is doing Ok with 4 or so regulars, but Armada is fading out. It's usually me and maybe one other regular for Armada. There are a couple gaming stores within 30 mins to an hour's drive of me that have more bodies, but I don't have tons of cash to fill the tank so much. -
Handing out landslide victories like candy. Help me.

I have run this and have yet to lose a wave 2 game. ISD-II (120) Gunnery team (7) Electronic Counter-measures (7) SW-7 Ion Batteries (5) XX-9 Turbolasers (5) Avenger (5) Admiral Motti (24) (173) VSD-II (85) Gunnery Team (7) Overload Pulse (8) (100) Raider-I corvette ( No upgrades) (44) Howlrunner (16) Tie Fighter (8) Tie Fighter (8) Tie Advanced (12) Tie Advanced (12) Tie Interceptor (11) Tie Interceptor (11) (82) Total: 395 points You get three activations, have a good fighter presence, gunnery teams on your SD's give you really good firepower especially when you combine OP on the VSD with the ISD's Avenger title. And at 395 points a good chance for initiative. -
Rebel Scum destroyed, the Emperor will be pleased.

I played in a escalation league last night where we started at only 30 points. So I ran Omega Leader with Juke, Comm Relay, and Shield Upgrade for 30 points. I went 2-1 The lists I won against were a Wampa/Dark Curse, and a Wampa/Backstabber I only lost one game and it was to Guri, but it was close.
