  1. Yeah I too was telling my friends after the movie on the ride home about my disgust for that scene.. I mean.. TWO IMPERIAL CLASS Star destroyers.. what do they face off against.. a handful of Cr-90's A neb-B and some large Reb cap ship and maybe two of three dozen fighters. My first complaint is that 3 Y-wings and six Ion torpedoes are enough to knock am Imperial class out? Then I noticed the shield dome on the soon to be disabled SD was destroyed at some point in the battle. Ok, alright I was still skeptical of only six torpedoes knocking a Star Destroyer out, but I could on theory believe it. So, my second thought was.. Why is that second Star Destroyer still sitting there next to that other one.. CLOSE THE **** DISTANCE and end these insurgent Rebels. But no, it sat there. My third thought was ok, ok.. these are obviously Imperial-I Star Destroyers because their hull is weaker, and their shield domes apparently have zero armor... The only saving grace for this battle is when the Devastator shows up and completely wreaks face.. one GR-75 exploding as it crashed into the hull, the Neb-B getting lit up like the 4th of July, and then disables the big bad ship in like ten seconds.. compared to what? Minutes of those other two SD's fighting it. but as was explained in the OP Those two ships didn't fire a single Turbolaser battery. And if they did, I must have missed it completely. So, I'm left with this thought. Perhaps it was just the captain's and crews of those two ships that were terrible, and useless. Because again the Devastator showed us what Imperial-I's do, and that in simple terms is to punish ships at Medium range, and absolutely decimate them at close range.

  2. His badge gives him rank equivalent to Admiral - but I think that he's closer to ISB than Imperial Navy, hence his uniform. I feel he'd make a better Officer than he would an Admiral.

In the book Catalyst He part of the Republic then Later Imperial Corps of engineers.. Or atleast that's what His uniform is supposed to represent. He's also a Lieutenant Commander and then a Full commander in the book.. However, the Catalyst is set some 15-20 or so years before Rogue one, so he could have been promoted to an Admiral's rank by Rogue One.

  3. Yes swap a raider for a Gozanti and upgrade to an ISDII with ECM. Should leave a few more points for squadrons.

Well if you take the new crew card that adds the Defensive Retrofit slot you can just add her for 2 points and take E.C.M. on the Imp -I Which would be 119 points with E.C.M. vs the Imp- II with E.C.M. clocking in at 127 points. However, I would rather have the blue dice than the black dice, so Deuces would be my choice as well.

  4. Imperial II's need E.C.M. Or they are just cannon fodder IMO. TO many Rebel ships have ways to get Accuracy without having to roll it natural. Overall I like the list, if it were me I would drop an Interceptor squad and a Tie squad to pick up the E.C.M. on both your ISD's. As for Xi-7's. Really depends, If you are running into more liberties than MC-80(Home One) style ships then the Xi7 is almost useless. XX-9's would be a slightly cheaper better option for Avenger.. Again just my personal choice. I would also try to fit a Tie Advanced in there if you are set on running Fel. Otherwise I doubt his ability will come into play much. Unless he's there to draw fire then your fine in the fighter department!

  5. Well after Motti and Screed are gone I'm guessing I will have to take Vader. Ozzel is OK but I think he works best with nimble MSU lists. The problem with that is that they tend to die a lot which means you gotta repair them. I think CC will make people reconsider survivable ships again like an ISD.

Depending on what you are fielding.. Admiral Konstantine is a choice I would think about.

  6.

Yeah, with the ability to now give Imperial-1's and Victory S.D. Defensive retrofits.. I.E. E.C.M.'s They just became a thing now!

I see a lot of Intel Officers in our future.

Perhaps, but like I stated before in another thread. If we do get Intel Officered It's fine, because being able to use that Brace if even once can turn the course of a battle in your favor, IMO.

  7. Is Destiny really that good? To be honest with you, what I saw gave me no urge to go out and buy the product.

I bought the Destiny Starters sets, and yes it's loads of fun and fast paced. Some folks probably wont care for it as much, but I think it's an amazing game personally.

  8. I can't stand Imperial-I's ... without E.C.M. they just get burned down two fast like Victories. Even if you attempt to keep them back some. Reb ships are fast enough to close that distance, and will light it up. Home one will Auto accuracy the brace.. and Rebs love them some XI-7's. Liberties will just Shoot you to pieces with Quad turbo laser cannons (The one that adds an accuracy if you roll a natural red accuracy) and Spinal armaments. I know people love the carrier builds with Imp-I's. But I'm sorry. There just isn't enough bombers in the Imperial navy to get me to convert to Imp-I's.

Just my thoughts on the Imp-I's. I'm sure a rebuttal is coming. :P
