    It just feels like X-wing Meta is just to hardcore to really enjoy it. I feel like every game is a tournament setting where my opponent is just there to crush me and move to the next guy. The fun "casual" feel of the game has eroded, but in the handful of IA games I have played there's still that "casual" feel in every game.. even at tournaments.

    An Arquittens is now the CORE ship of any Empire build.  If I had 6 of them, with 6 TRC respectively, I would fly nothing but that.   However, I only have 2, as they are sold out everywhere around me, so I am forced to bring other ships into my games. 

     

    So the real question is - What ELSE is worth taking if you have less than 6 Imperial Light Cruiser expansions?  And for that I simply don't know.   Maybe a hope and a prayer.

    Since when is it okay to start labeling all "Bens" as bad?

     

    Not all Bens break the rules on a regular basis, build lists to counter archetypes, and change their dials before revealing them.

     

    Bens are gamers of peace. We seek to promote the Rules Reference, and uphold the FAQ.

     

    We cannot let the actions of a few (one) Bens alone shape our perceptions of ALL Bens.

     

    Banning all Bens from tournaments is not the solution.

    You're right not all Ben's are bad.. Obi-Wan "Old Ben" Kenobi is not bad.. But there are some bad apples in the litter, Kylo "Ben Solo" Ren. :P

    This looks... exceptionally legit.  And Rogue One dark.

    Yup, about as dark as any Disney cartoon for children.  We know half those Rebel characters cannot die and the other half are the Ghost crew will not die, so how dark can it really be?

    This isn't directed specifically at you, Biggs, but I'm so tired of seeing so many adults hyper-defending Rebels by saying that it's actually really mature and heavy and for adults.

    Its irksome when grown people try to justify their love of something by acting like it's heavier, darker, or more profound than it actually is.  Like, it's a kids' cartoon with flashy action and pleasing colors and cool-looking ships and explosions and it fills in more of the Star Wars lore and world.  That's all very cool, and it's reason enough to enjoy it.  Bet let's not try to pretend that it's Saving Private Ryan or Green Mile or Requiem for a Dream or something, because it's not and it will never be.  It's a cartoon that cannot, due to audience, kill characters (Filoni mentioned as much re: Ahsoka's unshown showdown, and even mentioned that we very well may still see Ahsoka again in the future because she may have survived).  Hell, the cartoons have only managed to unkill characters (oh hey Darth Maul).

     

     

    I get your reasoning here. I too tired of it not being adult enough, but They have killed characters.. and on screen. remember the inquisitors? Maul and Asoka dropped them like a bad connection in season two.

    Veteran status is nice bonus in CC campaigns.

    Reliable tokens and re-rolls will be a big bonus. I started brainstorming some upgrades that will combo well with being Veterans:

    Liberty

    Liaisons

    Nav Teams

    Rapid Launch Bays

    Fleet Commands

    Ten Numb

    Luke

    Nym

    Any others that I missed?

    Yes, All the Imperial ones.. Rebel scum.
