  1. With the new FAQ updated, FFG did something with Hotshot Copilot that makes no sense... Now it seems like the ship equipped with it has to be spending the tokens... This is completely different from what the card was originally intended to do... FFG, fix this!!!
  2. The reason I brought this up is because of the wording on the card. Both say "equipped." The extra munitions card brings a whole different issue with this after a friend and I were discussing it. What that would require is declaring you assigned it after you put out the other cards which could require another step in the game entirely. That is why this is being raised as a question to get attention to it. Maybe that is why they used the word flipping, but I would also like to point out that it would still be equipping that card. This needs to be hashed out I think by FFG.
  3. I am not so sure though which is why I was hoping FFG would respond. When you flip a card over, you are reequiping it. It isn't just about the flip action, but what you are doing. Here is why I ask: JumpMaster 5000: Contracted Scout (25) Attanni Mindlink (1) Extra Munitions (2) Plasma Torpedoes (3) Guidance Chips (0) K4 Security Droid (3) Scavenger Crane (2) Unhinged Astromech (1) JumpMaster 5000: Contracted Scout (25) Attanni Mindlink (1) Extra Munitions (2) Plasma Torpedoes (3) Guidance Chips (0) K4 Security Droid (3) Scavenger Crane (2) Unhinged Astromech (1) M3-A Interceptor: · Serissu (20) Attanni Mindlink (1) "Heavy Scyk" Interceptor (2) Proton Rockets (3) -- TOTAL ------- 100/100p. -- It is a build I am working on that could really abuse that if it is the case. That is why I want clarification of it from FFG.

  5. Need some help here, When you get back your munition using scavenger crane, and you have extra munitions, does the new munition receive the extra token? I assume yes, but want to make sure. Thanks.
  6. Maybe on Manny. I could see a Range 1-2 for her, but from what I heard, that didn't do really anything to fix what was going on. Range 1 did what they wanted to fix a lot of her problems. The reality is that the JumpMaster was way under priced to begin with. Adding what Manaroo is to that, is the biggest issue. Overall, the game is in a better place and that is the good thing. :-)
  7. First, Thank you FFG for this new FAQ. While I understand while some people can be upset, the majority seem to see the light on this new FAQ and what it will do for the current meta. This new FAQ was needed for the community. The current state of the meta reminded me of my time playing MTG during the original Mirrodin set. SO STALE and STAGNANT. Anyone who remembers that time frame, should understand. These changes were needed. Manaroo. ParaAttani is not dead. So you have to fly Manaraoo close. Who cares. It still does what it should do. This comes down to skilled piloting and adapting. And if you don't like Manaroo anymore, find a substitute. People are already looking at Palob. Get creative. DESIGN a build. Yea, Dengaroo is probably dead. Not sad at all. X7 is still good. What is so wrong with that change? Wait, you actually have to pilot it and make sure you don't run into things? You need to take stress into consideration? What a concept. The game is about skilled dog fighting, not auto piloting. My friend who plays Defenders loves the change. It forces him to have to increase his skill. That is why the change was made. Zuckuss. There is no one who can say that wasn't needed. That was an over abused card for its cost. I think we all agree on this. Palpatine. Still a good card. Oh, you have to decide quicker when to use it. For good players, this won't be an issue. They pretty much know when they are going to use it and how in the first place in every situation. People will complain about the cost but the card isn't dead. This just required more thought about how and when you are going to use the ability. I was just at the Endor Open and let me tell you, seeing two days of players with I would say 75-80% of the field playing one build (ParaAttani), was disturbing and disheartening for a game that has so much more room to grow and allow for creative squadron designing. Listening to the players talk about it and how bad they thought it was, even the players flying it, was eye opening. These changes are going to force the community to change how they fly or design new builds. It will open the format for more diversity. That is a good thing. Thank you FFG for opening the format back up and allowing the game to grow again.
  8. The SLAM mechanic sure. I can agree there. The reality is though, these ships, with their hull and shield sets are not small based ships. They are large. That is the factor to consider. I would say the way to balance this once again is to give all ships half MOV when ships are at or below half their health.
  9. The reality to this is that the K-Wing and ARC-170 should have NEVER been a small base ship. FFG, unfortunately, messed up here. Happens. The way to fix this is to turn all ship bases to half points MOV. If you do that, balance will come back. That is what the player base is asking for.
  10. 3 times. Once as Rey, twice as Kylo
  11. Hey everyone, So I played this game this weekend at PAX West. My thoughts are: - Game is a lot of fun. Highly encourage to give it a try. - The dice give the game a different dynamic from other CCG. - The game can swing in a hurry depending on your rolls. - They feel nice. Solid make. Durable and will last. - Starter decks didnt feel balanced. The Rey deck WAS better. - I did win with Kylo, but only due to decking my opponent. - Rey getting upgrade after upgrade turns the table quick. - Lightsaber card and dice ends games quickly with starters. Overall, a great experience. Plan on getting into the game at launch and hopefully growing my local scene. And yes, they did give out the GenCon promos there. Thanks.
  12. 4 Royal Guards and 4 Imperial Officers It's ubiquitous right now. Until next wave or 2 come out, that will be the standard for the game. Game is still new so will take a couple waves to change that.
  13. 4 Royal Guard 4 Imperial Officer If I am rememering correctly
  14. Seriously??? First XWing, now this??? We should just call Paul the King of Star Wars games. In all seriouness though, congratulations. Well deserved sir.
  15. Something I am toying with now is: General Weiss Royal Guard Stormtroopers Stormtroopers Imperial Officer Imperial Officer I haven't toyed with the command deck but any thoughts?
