  1. Did this ever get answered? I didn't see anything in this thread. Count me as someone that would be interested in buying the STLs.
  2. The photos I find seem to have it more green in some and more blue/teal in others. With the Theed map pictures in Battlefront 2 pushing the more teal/blue colors. I may play with the color some more. If anyone is interested the system I used was painting the roof solid black, then an med to light coat of "antique bronze" so that you could still see some of the black coming through in some places. I then just sponged on the teal/green oxide color with a leftover piece of foam. All the paint for the roof was just cheap craft paint .
  3. Took me a bit longer to find the time to finish but this is the test paint job for all the other Theed buildings I printed this past month. If anyone has any feedback on anything to change or improve I'd love to hear it. My plan is to add some plants/flowers to them as well.
  4. I did the U-wing photos in your doc, do you want anymore photos of the U-wing on a playmat for your list? At the time I took these I was moving and didn't have much of my hobby stuff that wasn't packed so I only took some quick photos before I had to pack the rest.
  5. Are they really selling for that much? I have a package of both the Rebel I and Imperial I hmm...
  6. I think the kit for a MK2S is $600, it appears to be $900 for a ready to go system. I'd love to see some recommended printers for doing this type of terrain printing at different price points if any one has them.
  7. For the imperial terrain stuff I believe they list that files are designed for a 200 x 200 print bed.
  8. Would you be willing to share some photos of terrain you have printed. I've been trying to figure out what you need to print Imp Terrain stuff and I'd love to see what quality you are able to get out of a reasonably priced 3d printer.

  10. Is the spray can version of Mechanicus Standard Grey an actual primer or just a paint? The game workshop website only states "Mechanicus Standard Grey is designed for basecoating all Citadel miniatures. When sprayed over an undercoat, it's a fast way to get a uniform base of colour onto your models." which implies that it isn't really a primer either.
  11. There is also Mechanicus Standard Grey (Air) right from Games Workshop with you want it.
  12. How much cheaper do you want? Assuming you're in the US a can of Citadel Mechanicus Gray MSRP is $19.50, Army Painter Uniform Grey is $15. So you're only looking at a ~$5 savings if you go that way (Uniform grey is less blue I think then Mechanicus Gray). However from watching the Sorastro's video on the AT-ST I think just about any gray will work as you are then painting a base coat of Mechanicus Standard Gray and Zandri Dust over the primer. I've used krylon's colormaster primer on other mini's with good results over the years you should be able to pick up a can at walmart for ~$5. So it's up to you if you want to save ~$10-15 dollars or just buy the can of Mechanicus Gray.
  13. You're in luck they made a grass field for runewars already. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/runewars-miniatures-game/products/grassy-field-playmat/
  14. I have it and posted some pictures with a stormtrooper in a different thread. It is to big I think.
