  1. There are problems with other people's IPs. At some point, the cost of maintaining the license exceeds the profits from sales of the products. Before that point a company needs to drop the license. When they drop the license, they will no longer be able to sell the products any more. In most cases, this kills availability of a game. FFG will keep the Star Wars license as long as they can sell books, but at some point they will drop it. As you can see from the availability of past Star Wars RPGs, Disney does not care about past games. To them, they are dead and gone. I suspect that FFG is hoping popularity will build around Keyforge while they still have the Star Wars license. When the license finally drops, they will have an IP that does not belong to another company. They will be able to publish that for as long as they want. When they decide they no longer want to publish material for it, they can leave the past products up for sale.
  2. I don't think you purchase Clones or Bioroids. You lease them and all service is done be Jintiki or Haas-Bioroid depending if it is a Clone or Bioroid. They are extremely protective of their IP. I suspect if you damage them, there will be a big fee for that.
  3. I can verify that the file name has 3.1 on the source book. The maps in both books are at a good resolution.
  4. WOOTRS!!!! Just bought it. Here is the link. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/271678/The-Worlds-of-Android Edit: Just to add, they have the two gatefolds as separate PDFs as a single image to make the main PDF not go wild with it in there. This is good. Edit 2: For those not familiar with this book. It is a total fluff book. There are no rules in it. It is a setting book intended for authors of the novels. For those looking for a lot of background information on the setting, this is a good book.
  5. Yes, the maps are quite readable now. Thanks FFG.
  6. On the Upcoming page ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/upcoming/ ), Shadowlands ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/legend-of-the-five-rings-roleplaying-game/products/shadowlands/ ) and Mask of the Oni ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/legend-of-the-five-rings-roleplaying-game/products/mask-oni/ ) are being displayed in the Board & Card Games filter instead of the Roleplaying Games filter.
  7. WOOTERS!!! Purchase done. This is the one I have been waiting for since they announced the end of the Netrunner license.
  8. I really appreciate them letting us know. I can stop checking every day in hopes of seeing it. I am eager for the release. Now we just need Worlds of Android to be released in PDF. I would buy them both at the same time if I could hint hint.
  9. I suspect it will be a week or two after it drops off the Upcoming page.
  10. It is listed as a watermarked PDF and there is no PDF in it. Do you know if it has the section with the Genesys rules? I don't want to download it until I know what I will be getting. I am quite disappointed about not seeing a PDF option.
  11. I will hope for a Thursday release. I hope they release Worlds of Android at the same time in PDF. I would buy both.
  12. I hope sales are good and they produce many more books for this setting.
  13. I hope it is not on the slow boat from China. As a PDF purchaser, I have to wait around a month after the stores get it.
