    Yes I got that reading the rule book, but my question is How can you claim a reward for a wanted poster at the city gate if that poster is for an evil charcter or any other character? do you have to defeat that character on the city gate space? or you can do it anywhere else and than you can claim a reward?

    Hi all,

    one quick question about the city gate.

    the wanted posters at the city gate can they be picked as an object? or they can only be resolved only at the city gate?

    for instance if at the city gate there is a poster for an evil character can it be picked up? otherwise how can it be resolved? how can we collect a poster for a character at the city gate?

    My friends and I played a game last night and this question came up.

     

    I defeated the lord of darkness in the dungeon and I chose the cloak of feathers as reward.

    In the inner region I discarded it and I was teleported on the CoC, and then died because of an  alternative ending  <_<  <_<

     

    Then another character  defeated the lord of darkness and he wanted the cloak as well. Can he take it after my character discarded it? or is it considered as every other discarded card in the adventure pile?

    I'd allow casting it on the Bane Sword, which would then give +1 Str in battle, +2 Craft in psychic combat against Spirits (note only Spirits, not every psychic combat). Bane Sword is a Weapon and as such, a legal target.

    That makes sense.

    In a sense the bane sword, with the spell active, becomes like the skull wand ( with of course the limitation in the psychic combat against the spirts).

    Following this reasoning, I can use the spell on any weapon that adds craft and use it in combat as well as psychic combat.
