    My new game Mat

I love the look of your mat!
  4. That's annoying. I placed my pre-order Sept 15th and its still listed as Processing Pre-Order. I guess they dont action them on a first come first served basis. But its out. *Snoopy Dance of Joy*. I can wait a little longer now I know its on the way. They are supposed to fill them in chronological order. Hopefully this is a case of a shipper not getting postage on the package in the correct order. I placed my pre-order on Thursday, got the shipping notice (2-Day USPS) on Saturday and received the book today ,Monday! (It's likely that it actually shipped on Friday and I just didn't get the e-mail until Sat., based on that timing). MiniatureMarket is very decidedly my friend! So I also ordered on Thursday. Did 2 day USPS shipping but never got a shipping notice. I finally asked customer service today what happened to my order, and they said that are waiting for another shipment of copies for the book. When I ordered I know they said at least another 175 or so in stock. I asked when they would be getting in another shipment, and they said they had no idea. So as it stands, the Miniature Market website is still selling copies, but they also seem to be waiting to get more in stock, though the website indicates they have 66 in stock, and that you can "Get it Now!" on the front page of their website. I find this a bit disappointing. I love Miniature Market, they really are the place I go to for getting minis and lots of game stuff... but if you do not have the full shipment you claim you have in stock on your website, it can be a bit annoying when you find out maybe you should have ordered through another site. So my question is, has anyone ordered after Thursday from MM and received a copy? Or is the amount they have in stock just waiting for more shipments to come in from FFG? I am sorry to hear that you have received this response to your order inquiry. We have plenty of the Beta Books, physically in stock and am not sure why you were told that. I am not in CS, but am now forwarding this message onto our CS manager. If you want to pm me your order number, that can help as well. We do have a shipping delay on our site as of this week, due to a massive amount of order volume (though that should not have been the cause of saying that we did not have the item in stock). Again sorry for the negative experience and I will let the manager in the office know about this.

    Preorder availability?

We preorder from multiple suppliers, so our risk of over-selling is minimized. We also do not pre-sell more than a conservative fraction of what we have ordered, in case of the (expected) allocation. As to other retailers not having the pre-orders up as fast, sometimes we get the information early and sometimes (often actually) we don't and do not have confirmed numbers to list. This time we were able to get our numbers in and enough confirmed to pre-sell that many units.
  8. I believe that I have stated how the process works already, but I will do so again. We order from multiple suppliers. We have confirmed numbers from multiple suppliers. We pre-sold a lot of Wave 3 X-Wing. We did not oversell a single ship, even with getting heavy allocations on the HWK and less than we ordered on others. Not all of our suppliers stock has reached us yet, so in fact we are waiting for more product (the numbers that have been shipped are confirmed and en route, so it is coming). Some will likely show up today and the remainder tomorrow (barring any issues - but we have confirmed that our orders are on trucks). The warehouse manager takes the preorders and separates out pure wave 3 preorders (goes to a few people who literally stand next to cases of ships and pull the orders in chronological order). Orders with non-preorder items and/or items that have non-Wave 3 preorders go to another group of employees who then work through them chronologically as well (this does take longer as they have to pull the items from all over the warehouse). So if your order has not shipped as of yet, please realize that it is due to deliveries that have yet to be received and instead of holding the whole process, those orders are set aside until the stock arrives (and again it is coming - the supplier release date was this week so it is not over due yet). I am sorry if any of you feel slighted because somebody else has reported that they have received notification already, but the orders are being worked on and in chronological order. If it makes any difference, I as am employee am still waiting on my preorder (placed on 6-7-13) for 2 HWK's (reason why I don't have my order yet), 2 Lambda's, 3 B-Wing's, and 3 TIE Bombers. I am in the same boat in that regard and my solace is that I know that they are coming (I speak to the suppliers) and I was able to stand in FFG's line at GenCon and purchase one of each of Wave 3 (couldn't wait!).
  9. Please allow me to put fears to rest, we made sure that we did not oversell on any of the Wave 3 releases, by not releasing all of the quantities that we had pre-ordered. That said we did get allocated on the HWK and will still be able to fulfill all of our pre-orders as well as have some extra for sale (not that much on the HWK though). Our warehouse staff is busting their humps to get all of the X-Wing out (along with all of the other orders that we have) and we still have not received all of our pre-order amounts from suppliers (we order from multiple sources to ensure that we can maintain good stock and not all of that inventory arrives on the same day). Hold fast friends, the ships on the way (first to us and then to you)!
  10. Carriers should auto-generate tracking information and send them to recipients at the end of the business day (their systems batch them that way).
  11. I can attest that our warehouse staff is working on getting all of the X-Wing preorders out. The notices should be coming, they are working on them. If you have non-Wave 3 items then those orders take a smidge longer to pull and pack than orders with just Wave 3 (though all orders are being worked on as I type this). If you are still concerned or if you have questions - please contact support@miniaturemarket.com for specifics regarding your orders.
  12. We have ordered so much X-Wing, some restocks on Wave 2 will be rolling in a little later today and next week. Unfortunately, this restock is again allocated so no matter how much we order, we have yet to get a "full" restock on the sold out items.
  13. jedi moose said: By required i mean will there be many ships available to people who don't preorder? I've already put my order in, but i have a friend who hasn't and likely won't do a preorder. We got into the game just after Wave 2 release so I don't know what a release day is like with this game. Will there be stock for sale (online, i don't have many LGS here) to those who didn't preorder? How long will said stock last? Hours, days, weeks? Just wondering what your experience was with wave 2 and if it is expected to be the same for wave 3. In addition, Miniature Market seems to keep raising their preorder "stock" as it reaches low numbers. I know there is at least one guy on these forums who works for them, so i was wondering why that is? At what point will the preorder be sold out? Or will MM and other stores be able to keep requesting more ships as we get closer to release? Nothing is necessary, but it is quite possible that there will be a "dry" spell for Wave 3 availability, like the current situation. The demand for this great game just keeps on going up. As to why we add stock to the preorders: we only add product in confirmed batches. This means that as the release date gets closer and closer, we will only put out amounts that we have been assured (so in case there is a temporary shortage in supply from FFG, our preorder customers should be guaranteed their ships).
  14. These are great, good job. Poor Porkins.
