Just finished Chewie to go with Han. Bases Still need finishing

Some scatter terrain I recently finished up for my desert table.
3mm MDF base with blue/pink styro and some cork scatter. There's a couple of real rocks mixed in as well - just enough to give it a bit of heft and stop them being knocked around so easily in play.
Took around 3-4 hours of work in total I guess, ignoring drying times etc.

I’ve said for years, once you start making wargaming terrain, you look at EVERYTHING different.  Basically anything that comes into your hands gets turned upside down to see if it works as a building. You start getting more excited about the packaging things come in, than the things themselves. Just the other day I snatched a cool plastic egg carton out of the trash at our place to use as a mold.

Not a fan of the mats honestly. If I was going to buy an ffg game mat for Legion I’d go with the Runewars grassy ones that are minimally busy and things we’d expect to be flat. 

As mentioned above, FFG hasn't dropped any balls. This is FFG's normal release style across all their lines. Things get delayed all the time at FFG, stuff doesn't have a dedicated production path - it gets into the queue with everything else - consider how long reprinting their most popular stuff takes - they don't rush it. Release dates they're smart to NEVER guarantee since they can't be guaranteed. They're within quarters then update statuses on their websites. Trusting anyone's estimated release date for an FFG product is setting yourself up for failure. Releases for Legion will be sloooow. It's not a typical minis company doing this where they churn out army releases monthly or in large lots like GW does these days. They'll grind it slow and assume the interest will remain. Look to how Xwing and Armada and Runewars have released and you'll get an idea of the cycle timing for Legion. Also, assume they've underestimated their audience in some way and will underprint something along the way. 
No need to get frustrated when you realize this isn't anything at all new for FFG, it's SOP. Just have to be cool with it or move on and revisit the game a year or so after it's been out.

Not to mention that the Han promo card's a Special Forces model and not a Leader.

FFG has made mistakes with promo cards before. The Lord of the Rings LCG Aragorn had an incorrect threat level, for example. That's all this was.  How many people really got the promo anyway that it's going to cause mass confusion?  

HUtB does not count as a ranged attack, alas. The definition of ranged attack includes that the enemy be engaged with another player (see FAQ p. 13), which doesn't apply to HUtB.

There is a point in the finale where it tells you to check how many Boons the heroes have saved up. The results tell you what to do with a certain deployment.

My eyes just did not look onto the right hand column of text, stopped when I got to the bottom of the left side.

Yes, the corp can look at their own facedown cards in archives.
On page 6 of the core rulebook there is a blue box titled "Corporation Play Area." Both players can look at faceup cards at any time. The last sentence in the definition of Archives reads, "The Corporation can also look at the facedown cards in Archives at any time; the Runner cannot."

The icon tells you what chapter pack cycle the card is from. The crown icon indicates the card is from the core set. The other icon is the pin that the Hand of the King wears to show his position. Thus, "Littlefinger" is card number 28 from the core set and "In the Name of Your King!" is card 28 of the Westeros cycle. Future cycles will have a new icon and start the numbering over at 1.

Not the best paint job I've seen on here but I'm pretty happy as it's my first time painting (& MASSIVE thanks Sorastro for the help getting started!). All ready for a four player skirmish match next weekend!! YAY!

I'm pretty sure it's Magali Villeneuve. She does a lot of amazing art for the Lord of the Rings LCG too.

I just finished painting up the three heroes for Return to Hoth. In different ways, I found all three tricky. MHD-19 was especially tricky since I wanted to try to give him the sense of battle-damage that you see in FFG's illustration.

I can't wait to see how these three work out on the skirmish table. It seems to me that MHD-19 has the potential to really mix things up with his healing ability. If anyone has any experience with him, I'd love to hear about it.

Don't know how this is evidence of that. We've had Palpatine on a command card since the game released and he hasn't been included as a figure (yet).

Oh, and when you have to stun: stun, don't talk.  Short of wounding a hero, nothing hurts them more than cutting the activation in half.

The main characters from the movies are not meant to be played as heroes in the campaign. However, you can earn them as allies that you can bring along to fight with you if you successfully complete the appropriate side missions.
There are currently 11 heroes you can choose to play as. There are the 6 from the core set, 2 in the Twin Shadows boxed set, and 3 in the newly released Return to Hoth campaign.
