I guess the difference in range might make the difference, but you can still make the argument that at range 1 the primary weapon may be just as good, so concussion missile should be preferred.

I haven't used the TIE bomber very often, but I'm giving it a chance. I plan to try this list. Darth Vader - swarm tactics, concussion missiles. Scimitar TIE bomber - seismic charges, proton torpedoes. Howlrunner - determination. Academy Pilot TIE fighter x2 Total 100. How's this look? If I remove Howlrunner's determination, I could replace the proton torpedoes with assault missiles. Again, I haven't tried this list yet, so feedback is useful. I only have one bomber, so don't suggest adding more. I think this thread has pretty much covered that.
