EE-z98 reacted to Natsymir in Jagannath points and jail
(his GM here). He got captured through awesome battle against a legion of foes on a desolate planet, ultimately being grinded down by two decimated squads of Storm Commandos and Death Troopers. If it weren't for the unrelenting nature of religion, I'd say he went down with honor - but Jagannath doesn't accept that.

My five cents, though I'm still very interested in other opinions, is that he'll have to start from scratch, but anyone worthy that he shanks in prison do count, as long as he can avoid further humiliation. But if he gets swamped by prison guards and tasered to unconsciousness or thrown out of genpop, then, sorry, the Jagannath points would reset again. But hey, ain't nobody sayin' prison ain't tough!

    That's awesome.
My favorite was a dark side game using SAGA.  I was playing a Mando working for dark side brothers.  Things didn't end well, when the game abruptly ended we had murdered a PC and was in the process of killing two others.  The group kind of blew up after that but man was being bad fun.  PC vs PC didn't end well for the group.
The darksider's almost killed me for being to bloodthirsty.  I deceived my way into a police station playing the drunk.  While they weren't looking I threw up and rolled a thermal detonator under a desk.  Carnage ensued and with no proof I did anything but drunken disorderly they threw me in jail.
My employers gave me a choice follow orders without my own interpretation or Force lightning.
I fell in line...for the most part.

This has been my only complaint since come back to WA from the dreaded East Coast.  You end up stationed there in the Coast Guard and it is sometimes hard to get out...  Tacoma is too far to drive for a regular Seattle game.  Oh well right now it just myself and my son playing.  Still fun but I would kill to be just a player again.  To be surprised by the odd turns of a game.  I miss that part.  GM's can still be surprised but it is a different kind of surprise.  I always loved the look on my GM's face when a group I was apart of did something totally unexpected.  Pay off the Black Suns, carve a Black Suns symbol on a severed head, save the Chancellor from assassination...

That's a pretty good idea for a Bad-*** Bounty Hunter...or someone pretending to BE one...or a Force User in hiding...
"NO Officer, these are NOT functioning lightsabers"

"Did you just try to mind-trick me?"

Give Black Sails a watch.  They sometimes use contacts that give them leads.  This could be someone the group pays for info.  A company person looking to pay off a gambling debt.  A dockworker that overheard something.  A disgruntled employee that wants a cut.  You can think up all kinds of ways to get the info.
The asteroid is one of the best ambushes.  My group has stowed away, we had one time where the tank just assaulted the ship in port (consequences follow), or use a good deceiver to find a way (my personal fav).

A good set of Beskar'gam and the right crazy PC/player to make the character come alive.  You cant have a timid player with a mandalorian PC...  Just doesn't work.  One of my favorite PC's ever was a mandalorian that worked for dark side brothers.  The game ended badly but while we were playing it was awesome.
You have to love being threatened with death from your Darkside employer for being too violent and making rash decisions.

Why would you have a problem using it at close range? Just have him roll a melee check

As a general rule of thumb, when I'm finished updating a release, I wait until I keep my mitts off of it for two days or so before actually releasing it.  However, I've been making little changes here and there with it in response to issues that have cropped up.  Even today, I decided to modify the way Force talents look in the tree (they now look like the books), and add the conflict symbol, if appropriate.  That took a bunch of tweaking and graphic work with GIMP, plus I had to update keys in the Print Tree feature to support it.  It's finally done, so all I need to do now is add conflict to the talent editor.

The point of this is that the release won't get out before next week.  Of course, more stuff will be fixed, and more features will be included, so it's a good thing
