Yeah, pretty much this was just a confusion of terminology on how dragon runes and false dragon runes are differentiated from each other.

Nevermind.

 

After re-reading and re-re-reading the following...

 

"Some Season cards or Tactics cards instruct players to place (or move) rune tokens to specific areas. These cards do not use the term 'receive one dragon rune' and only cause the specified tokens to be placed; the cards do not also place false runes unless specified."

 

...I think I'm good with interpreting it as saying you place an actual dragon rune and not a false one.

I'm not talking about gaining a dragon rune. I'm talking about cards that tell you to put a single rune on the board in for example an uncontrolled hex.

When a player is instructed to place a rune on the board, does it have to be an actual dragon rune or can it be a false rune?

[Heroes supporting battles]

Can two (or more) heroes support the same set of units in a battle? Everything I can find about heroes supporting units only mention one hero supporting and make it 'seem' like only one can support each type of unit.

[Season Cards]

Since the game is only supposed to last 7 years, but comes with 8 years worth of seasons (and 3 more added in the expansion). How are the seasons supposed to be set up? Shuffle all of them together and then remove 1 (or 4) or shuffle them together and just keep track of how many years have passed and end after 7? The first time I played I made the assumption there were only 7 season cards and probably played into the 8th year...
