  1. So I guess Mansions of Madness is now done. We haven’t seen any new DLC in almost 2 years and its been 9 months since Path of the Serpent with nothing from FFG. it’s really a shame I love Mansions of Madness. Played all the scenarios more than twice now. Was hoping for something new but with no announcement at GENCON, I think its safe to assume its now done.
  2. 1) To move out of the space with the monster, you need to make an EVADE. You can MOVE action, move one space then ATTACK and then move one more space. 2) Yes. You use your first action to MOVE and second action to ATTACK. 3) Yes you suffer one less horror for each success you have up to 0 horror. Yes if you roll 1 dice or only have one success you will suffer one horror.
  3. Yes all the cards the investigators start with are also listed in the beginning of the scenario. You should give those cards to the correct investigator.
  4. Thanks for the information. Maybe FFG should have more news updates or articles then. Have a few articles that discusses strategy or the character and setting.
  5. Not only did they skip the small box expansion last year, they released no DLC scenario. I am starting to worry a bit, I don't know if sales are slowing down or they have other priorities. With AH3 there is even less activity. I'm just not use to how quiet thing are. I've been a big fan since EH came out, I've collected most of the Arkham Files games. I hope there are many years of more content.
  6. In the Learn to play book it states under componants that you get 12 investigators waith matching token and stand. Reading that makes me think it was a mistake by the printer that they gave too few plastic stands. Or they changed it to only 6 stand after printing the rule books.
  7. I've noticed. I had to buy the Deluxe rule book separately, so it's annoying that is has errors. Hopefully the rules are correct, no other obvious errors.
  8. I’m from South Africa. I’m currently in the shop holding the AH box. Should I or shouldn’t I?
  9. Great video, thank you for the unboxing. FFG cheaping out on the plastic stands is annoying. With Eldritch Horror you got a plastic stand for each investigator. It's a pain to get those stands in my country, I will need to special order them and hope they will arrive in the next 3 months.
  10. I was wondering how many card will actually be used? Player Asset except unique assets, Skill and Event will be used from both sets, but is that all? Will you use the encounter set of both cores?
  11. I was looking at Merchant of Venus but I see that it is no longer available. Is one of the other publisher that is part of Asmodee going to republish it or is it just gone forever?
  12. I didn't know people struggled with the puzzles. I found then all too easy.
  13. 1) Read Component Limitations in Rules Reference Page 2 2)That will depend on your group, we use the best possible move for the monster. 3) Read Insane under Damage & Horror in Rules Reference Page 7 4) No 5) No - Read Wall Rules Reference Page 19 There is no need for a FAQ since all these can be answered by just reading the Rules Reference.
  14. Have a look at Game of Thrones LCG. Arkham Horror The Card Game can also be a good place to start. It still needs to be release so it's an easy place to start.
  15. I need to get the two expansion before they are forever gone.
  16. So if people want and like a collectable game, FFG is not allowed to make one. Wow aren't you entitled. You don't know if this came from FFG or Asmodee, this could be part of the deal from Disney so that FFG could get the Star Wars license. My biggest problem with your post is, if you don't want to buy it then don't. No one is holding a gun to your head. No need to spew your hate on these forums.
  17. Making an option for the two play styles would be a good solution.
  18. Some of the figures were a bit skew, but all I did was put them in very hot water for a few seconds. Shaped them and dunked them into cold water. That solved all my problems with the miniatures.
  19. The continue button is a real problem in the app. If you touch anywhere on the screen it continues. Unlike the other buttons for example confirm, where you have to click on the button itself. It is just too easy to accidentally skip important text. I found it really annoying.
  20. I agree 100%. What we currently do is to stop reading so we don't know the outcomes.
  21. We are 3 to 4 players that regularly play at Battle Wizards, Centurion. We normally play Wednesdays and if we can on Saturdays. I am working to get a nice group going and if people are interested organize a store tournament with prize support. If you are interested in joining us, feel free to contact me.

  23. No everything in those movies is terrible and should never be In this game. you shut your war mouth! Those movies were terrible. Bad acting, bad writing, bad effect, bad directing, the list goes on. Those movies look more dated than the original Star Wars Trilogy or even a movie like Jurassic park. Lucas messed up his own lore, they don't fit in correctly with the original Star Wars examples Yoda trained Obi Wan, Obi Wan didn't know about Lea. It didn't look like Obi Wan and Anakin Skywalker were friends, Anakin just bitched about him all the time. The camera angles are all the same, from left to right. It's boring. I wouldn't mind if Disney goes back and redo the prequels. I can write pages about what is wrong with the prequels but I'll rather stop here. I think the prequel are terrible movies, never mind being terrible Star Wars movies.
  24. ...How? The T-70 pays fewer points per HP (24/6 < 21/5), and it's got the same offensive stats. Stat line efficiency only cares about 5 variables: cost, attack, agility, hull, shields. The T-70 gains 1 shield but it costs 3 more points. 3/2/3/2 is worth just under 18 points. T-65 jousting efficiency is therefore about: 18 * (1 + 1/24) / 21 = 89.3% 3/2/3/3 is worth about 20 points. T-70 jousting efficiency is therefore about: 20 * (1 + 1/24) / 24 = 86.8% Boost on the T-70 is nice, but will not be enough to make the PS2 viable. This is easy to predict because the PS1 TIE Interceptor also has boost, and has a better jousting efficiency of ~90%, but is basically extinct now. Poe is another story. I haven't done the math on him yet. Does this mean the shield upgrade is actually over costed. If I take a T65 X-Wing and add shield upgrade for 4 points I actually pay too much, ignoring the free engin upgrade for now.
