  1. +1 for FFGOP is a joke of a mess and people need to be fired for letting this punchline go on this long.

Article was just released about the changes made to worlds. They knew about this and ran with the changes months ago, keeping it a state secret for some reason.

And where is this waitlist? It's not in the new article, can't find much in the OP section. Or do I have to go through Adepticon channels?

On the other hand, if you didn't declare target, you could not have played Marksman.

Well Marksman is weird since it is played before you intend to do something, which is why I asked FFG. I was about to return with a follow up, but as you said, it would be difficult to even set this scenario up on purpose. I just treated as another case of old cards causing irregularities.

After an attack targeting Han Solo resolves, can you play the Marksman command card before declaring, or in the process of resolving, his Return Fire ability?

Marksman reads, "Use before declaring a ranged attack. Figures do not block light of sight for this attack."

In general, “Return Fire” is considered used if the attack resolves, which means the attack must officially begin. We consider this to have happened when a legal target is declared.

Cards like Marksman are strange, and must happen before a target is declared. So in your scenario:
    • Han plays Marksman before trying to declare a target.
    • Marksman is Negated.
    • Han can choose not to declare any target for the attack, so “Return Fire” has not been used.

In the end, Han has not used Return Fire and is free to use it later in the round.

    Thanks for the question!

The reason this question originally came up was because of Ezra speculation, but it seems that you can't use "Much to Learn" on a die that was already rerolled by something else like "officer's training". The reason is that much to learn first selects a die to reroll before changing its side, so rerolled dice aren't eligible for the ability.

Don't want to get too far off topic, but I don't see Much to Learn restricted like that. What am I not seeing?

I am potentially looking at relocating back to Phoenix as early as next year, is there a lot of support for the game out there?

For sure. Whichever corner of PHX you may be in usually has some kind of event every week. Even Prescott has 2 thriving game stores. Lookup Phoenix Destiny Force on Facebook.

The article on the General Veers-expansion for Legion is up...

    I'm starting to hate this!

Join Legion! You know it is the only way!

It looks like that's what they're trying to do now. Just piss us all off in hopes that we'll play with the other latest plastic army men.

Looking on the bright side if any, FFG as a company looks like it's getting it's act together. Product is flowing through the pipeline, and as shown with L5R LCG, they are doing larger explosive launches as it should've been with all games. I hope they'll improve on their OP side soon.

...I ask that everybody respect each other's opinions and just generally be nice.

Right on, let's start off with the Golden Rule, be excellent to each other.

You basically cannot identify true stalling. One has no way to see what the other is thinking/going through. The best we can do is call over a judge as politely and calmly as possible to explain your side. We need to remember in some cases there are new players, they have to start somewhere like we all did.

I love the idea of chess clocks, but it makes playing a game a bit more cumbersome. Unfortunately for now, this is just up to the TO, I think there should be a rule that games should be at the very least 3 rounds. I can't imagine many 2 round games though, can't say I've seen it personally.
