Don't post these here. What FFG doesn't know can't hurt us.

I personally would have written OAI as an Upgrade with no Trash Cost. That would have fit the mechanics of the game better.

I put my Corp Identities in Purple Sleeves with the Corp Actions and Corp Click Tracker cards. I put my Runner Identities in Green Sleeves with the Runner Actions and Runner Click Tracker cards.
I find that other players don't bother with these cards, so you can probably get them from your fellow Netrunner players.
I find them useful as a place for storing my Unspent Clicks and Credits.

Boardgamegeek is a great place to go looking for people. I believe there's a significant playgroup in Pittsburgh if you can't find anything closer.

You are both right. "AP, Barrier, Bioroid, Code Gate, Destroyer, Grail, Mythic, Observer, Sentry, Tracer" are all examples of subtypes. Compare the text on, say, Deus X and Gingerbread to the text on Battering Ram and Femme Fatale.

It's a gray area. Strictly speaking, they're cards that have been marked or damaged, which should be perfectly legal as long as you have opaque sleeves. Definitely check with the TO ahead of time.

Hi, If subroutines were broken in previous runs are they renewed and active on the next run against the same server?
They are active again as soon as the Encounter Ends (see Cell Portal).

When was there a Blackguard playmat? :S
GenCon 2013.

So I should just look at like I have a choice to encounter it traditionally, or just pay the clicks and bypass it if I want to (assuming I have the clicks available)
Or pay Credits and break it with an Icebreaker, or some combination of the three.

@all who suggest "playing a Runner once"
My personal stubborness will not allow me that without ONE solid corp victory under my belt. I just want to proof to me that I can pull that off.
Think of it as research.
Oh, and the other reason it's a good idea to play as Runner is that if *you* win 100% of the time as Runner, then you've definitely got something wrong in the way you're playing this game. Have you guys watched any Netrunner podcasts for tips?

Generally speaking, when one side always wins, you're probably playing it wrong. Common errors that lead to Corp losses include:
1. Paying Rez Cost when Installing Cards
2. Trashing ICE when subroutines are broken
3. Trashing ICE when Agendas are scored/stolen
4. Giving the Runner a free draw + four Clicks every turn
5. Forgetting to shuffle HQ when the Runner Accesses (allowing a clever Runner player to be able to guess where the Agendas are).
Also, you need a turn at Runner. Maybe you are losing because you don't understand how he's doing what he's doing, and once the tables are turned, you'll be better able to keep him out. The gameplay usually goes through three phases:
1. Free Running. Servers have little, if any, defenses. The Runner usually needs at most one breaker.
2. Lockdown. The Corp has enough ICE that the Runner can only rarely get into Servers. Note the ICE doesn't always have to be Rezzed -- two mystery ICE on a Server is frequently a much bigger threat than one Unrezzed ICE.
3. The Grind. The Runner has all breakers out and their economy is humming. All servers are vulnerable given enough time.
Note that only one of these phases -- Lockdown -- favors the Corp. That's the only time you can expect to keep the Runner out. The rest of the game, you have to keep the Runner busy running where the Agendas aren't.
Also, are you aware that Adonis Campaign and Eve Campagin are Assets and not Agendas?

We'll never get card backs. The art sleeves can theoretically be used by any LCG or CCG, but the cardbacks narrow it down to pretty much Netrunner and thats not a lot of sales.
j
They could potentially be a tourney prize. That way FFG could have them printed and never worry about having excess stock.

Some have tried, but they backed down. It's better for everyone if everyone can play.
-
Nope. One generally does, because there are lots of cool cards in the other factions that will probably synergize with your strategy, but you don't have to.
-
Another cornercase example is a Server with no cards installed in it and a single Data Mine protecting it. If the Runner doesn't break the subroutine on the Datamine, the Server will cease to exist mid-run.
-
Just plan on playing two decks, one each for the boss (wife) and I. She's big on the hacking so will take over that portion of cards and leave me with the corp stuff.
You will eventually find that one of you always wins. You need to play both sides to properly understand the game.

I understand it's desirable to have 2-3 core sets, but how many of each expansion pack would someone need? Is one of each expansion enough? How many of the deluxe expansions would I need?
Sorry if this is a redundant question but my searches only came up with 2-3 core boxes, nothing on the other packs.
Thanks in advance for the help.
One of each expansion is enough for one person to have any one Runner Deck and any one Corp Deck (this is also true for the Deluxe Expansions). If you're the kind of person who likes to have multiple different decks and play the game from a variety of angles, you may find some cards (such as Plascrete Carapace and Jackson Howard) that you want to put into multiple decks, which may lead you to buy additional copies of those expansions.

OK, that makes sense. I still prefer the method that puts the Click Token on the Server being Run or on the card being Installed.

Any love for the Gaming Clubs?

Preach on, brother! I ran tournaments out of a local University, but I was able to acquire Prize Support from local stores to do it.
