  1. As the title states, Game On Chattanooga will be hosting a tournament on 8/17 with a start time of 2:00. Entry is $5 per person with a summer kit(Leia mat, Leia box, Veersbox, Tarkin alt and Rogue 3 alts) as prize support. Contact store or you can message me on here with any questions. I do work there just help organize FFG LCG and Xwing nights and tourneys there. Hope to see everyone there and will be Game On's first Star Wars LCG event. Game On Chattnooga 7510 Lee Hwy Suite 7 Chattanooga Tn 423-602-5800
  2. As far as I know, we have 3 or 4 of us that live near Chattanooga (Jon, Tom, Bob, and myself) and 4-6 in Dalton (Kevin, Jared, two friends of Jared can't remember their names, Davin, and maybe Ian). So I believe we have enough in the area to get a league going just the difficult part being getting us all together on a regular basis to meet everyone's work schedules and timeframe. I hope to get some games in with Jon on Thursday to get some games under his belt.
  3. Sounds like fun. Definitely keep us informed of possible tourney dates.
  4. There is also some players down here in Chattanooga. I am working on building the meta and trying to talk GameOn Chattanooga into getting the league night kits and the store championship kit.
  5. A weekly league was been going on a couple weeks to grow the game. Anyone is welcome to come and play. It is Thursdays usually starting between 6 and 6:30. We have both league kits for tourney/prize support. Address: Game On Chattanooga 7510 Lee Hwy Suite 7&8 Chattanooga TN They are also on Facebook search Game On Chattanooga.
  6. Still trying to find some more players. Currently know three in the area but one is moving to IL in a couple of weeks. Now that we have a great game store, GameOn Chattanooga, I have been trying to draw more people. I also play X-wing and we have just got a league going on it. I am usually at GameOn on Thursday but usually still drop in a couple of time a week. If are ever in the area just let me know and love to play some games.
  7. i have it and have built a couple of decks but have still yet to play a game in OCTGN.
  8. I have listened to the first two on my droid and enjoyed them both. Downloading three and four right now and am looking forward to listening to them. Keep up the good work guys.

Time it right and this little fighter can make them take down their own mighty Devastator. I think it could be great in combo with A New Hope because they're likely to keep their big powerful vehicle units in play, then you use the X-wing Escort's death to make them sacrifice one of the few units they still have on the table. I wonder if it would work well with Heroic Sacrifice? A combo of X-wing Escort and Heroic Sacrifice brought down my Devastator in one of my last games. The Navy had an AT-ST, Devastator, and Motti in play. The light side player used Heroic Sacrifice to take the AT-ST out, then X-wing Escort's ability to also take out Devastator. As long as it is at the right time that combo can work very well for the Light Side. The problem is that you could have simply sacrificed the AT-ST. Here's what happens. 1) The LS player plays Heroic Sacrifice, sacrificing X-Wing Escort and targeting AT-ST. 2) Because the ability of X-Wing Escort is an Interrupt, it resolves before Heroic Sacrifice finishes resolving. The DS player chooses a Vehicle unit to sacrifice, like say…AT-ST. 3) Heroic Sacrifice resolves, but its target has already left the play area, so it does nothing. We played that wrong good to know for future games. Got to make mistakes sometimes to learn. Thanks for heads up.
  10. Team Covenant on youtube did some really good unboxing videos on at least the coming wave that went over everything that came with them. http://www.youtube.com/user/covenanttcg
  11. I am a new player as well and both players I have introduced to the game was enjoyed it as well. I currently own only one core set but here is what I was planning to purchase total: 2 core sets 1 x-wing expansion 1 tie fighter expansion 1 tie advanced 2 y-wing expansions 1 Falcon 1 Slave-1 2 a-wing 3 tie interceptors I won't be able to get it all at once but that is my plans for at least my collection and for my gaming group. I orignially was planning on 2 of the x-wing, tie fighter and advanced expansions but cut it back just to be able to use all the pilots at the same time if needed. I personally do not want to focus just on one faction since both are fun to play. I know it won't be cheap but I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.
  12. I would love to play anybody in the greater Chattanooga area. Currently know another person that plays in the area also and we have introduced our friend to the game as well but not sure if he is going to get into the game or just use our decks. I visit Epikos in Collegedale regularly and would be interested in playing in any location. We also play A Game of Thrones LCG (though we haven't gotten much past the core set) and I picked up the X-wing Minitures core set.
