If they are smart, an entire wave just for fixes for older cards (with no expansion needed) would be something amazing.

Yeah I call BS. The game sells well and I doubt the mouse would care to stop that. There is a delay for whatever reason but I agree with @cleardave. Stuff always seems to come out like a big surprise. Besides, the impression I got at Gen Con was that there was stuff coming, including a Boba fix. Let's all enjoy our new toys for now.

So you say that FFG and their team of developers working at this expansion for a few months do a worse job than you by looking at the card for 5 minutes? Amazing! You should get hired by FFG so these cards are not published.
 
In all seriousness...how about you see and play the card before calling it broken? It took a while before the hyperloop combo was found, same for poeMaz, and so on.
 
 

It's hard to blame the testing process because no matter how much they play or how many are there, they will end up thinking a certain way. It's not until the masses get the card, and trail and error leads to that unique combination that steals the meta.

I wonder how many of you have "experience" as a playtester. It is easy to get on here and trash people's work and much harder to put in the time and work to test a game, let alone design a game. I bet the people that test this game don't intend to log on to the forums and hear people complain, I bet they don't mind some criticism of how the game state is currently, but guess what, I bet they know what is coming and how cards can have gotten out of hand so they need to be "fixed" (errata, etc).
Just relax and realize you are targeting someone you know nothing about, play a darn game (feel free to complain, it's your right) but remember sometimes calling people out with nothing to stand on (meaning what are you doing to enhance the game?) makes you look bad.

As another poster noted it's much easier to miss things when first designing a game.  Overall your looking more big picture and frankly your playtesters are all going to be inexperienced initially as it's a new game.  Most of your the initial playtesters (2 sets in we are talking about cards all designed prior to release) might not even be people you keep on moving forward, and as you move forward the people you add to your playtest group are going to be more vested in the game and players of a much more known quantity as far as Destiny related ability.
But overall what happens at 700+ cards?  Bans and/or erratas.  They're going to need to do this occasionally. Even WoTC with their MUCH larger testing team, years of experience, and more resources for development has had to ban 4 cards in the past 3 months for Standard.  And the Internet tells me Standard still sucks apparently.
Bigger and better playtest groups not withstanding the need for post-release meddling is a reality of card games.

Not sure where the 10% comes from. MM simply ordered some random number of boxes they wanted and are getting what they get. I would imagine most places getting more than 10% of the boxes they ordered. Also keep in mind FFG's new policy to support local game stores first and diverting their products away from big internet retailers. So MM not getting a insane number of boxes isn't surprising. SoR is being released in waves, so supplies will be sparse but hopefully consistent. Sadly this is necessary to minimize the effects price gougers and hoarders have on the market. If places like MM got what they wanted, it would be far too easy for them to suck all the supply dry. Sort of flooding the market with a bunch of unwanted product, this is a good way to handle it.
It is good to see MM finally figuring out accepting money for goods they have NO realistic expectation of ever fulfilling is a bad thing to do.

They both trigger before Ben dies, and the owner gets to determine the order. So yes, you can trigger Ben and then trigger Second Chance.
And I'm expecting people to abuse the hell out of it.

People are going to be negative, it's human instinct unfortunately. 
I believe the next set will come out in abundance and we will be able to have access to all the cards a lot easier then set one. Also, you can still get set one. People are selling sets all the time and I would bet you will have tons of chances to buy set one boosters in the summer. 
 

That's my problem with it. They have sub-types on upgrades but aren't consistently using them where it makes sense.
It makes sense that the Holocron only works on abilities.
It doesn't make sense that this doesn't work only on equipment and weapons.

Whilst by the rules i agree with you, i disagree with you from a general stance.
That is to say... by the rules a move ignores play restrictions, but how the hell does a cargo hold let a rebel trooper become one with the force?!
