  1. I have used cunning in the appropriate situations to apply damage to one of my Leaders henchmen in this way, as a culture will throw himself in the way to save his master while he finishes the ritual to summon a daemon. It makes things more unpredictable for the PC's and forces them to get more creative then just point and shoot, as now the combat characters will seek to engage the foe before they open fire tieing up as many henchmen as they can. It gives more purpose to the initiative tracker and fore thought….
  2. ^^^^^^^ this, hands down is the key to success. I have a tendency to over prepare locations when I DM(GM) and you may(if you start writin room descriptions for every location) find that your PC's will just saunter by that ominous door to the right and all the time you went into explaining the evil little details will feel wasted, but fear not! Just toss it in a folder for a rainy day (or another adventure…). This being your first P&P experience, my first piece of advice would be: Your PC's will constantly ruin your most well formulated plans, they are the Bain of your existence. No nemesis will ever feel the pain you do at the often frustrating decisions they will continually make. They will miss the odvious thy will solve the unsolvable… my advice is to roll with it. Early on find out what they want (this will change) and how they intend to get it (this too will change, like when they claim to be "Good Guys" then change their minds when the guard answers a question "poorly" a knife enters a stomach and they are on the run!) and just try to stay pliable and remember! You can kill them whenever you like!
  3. If a player is RP'ing a Slayer properly, should he not have a nightmare of a time surviving (his lose purpose in life should be his brutal demise, no? Not treasure hunting…)? It's for this reason that I think they need ignorant battle maneuvers. A naked character can only take so many lumps before death finds him and if you are using the Grievous Wound cards smattered throughout your deck it will make your PC's a little more loath to use things that leave them helpless… as for the whole multi-shot effect: have it possible to only kill one Henchmen per shot and it will force the archer into a more specialized role of as previously stated whittling down the health of Boss' or Monstrous Creatures.
  4. Is that a "no" then? I will make the transaction via PayPal, I have had several successful trades on Bartertown if you want some references…
  5. Hey man, I would be interested in taking the lot of WFRP3 stuff off of your hands. I have some of the expansions as is, but wouldn't mind the extras… Shoot me an e-mail at bonesaww666@live.ca with a price. I live in Canada, I hope that won't be an issue. Hope to hear from you soon!
