  1. With Tauntauns and Wookiees in your face tearing crap up, the troops you got can probably hang back by the deployment and have a leisurely picnic with Leia.
  2. Fast and the Furriest actually. Funny that Ive been working the exact same list. I dropped 3 AT-ST with flamers for the Tauntauns once I realised they grant cover to Wookies too! Was thinking the same name...amazing. 5. Med droids on rebels are 'meh' at best. Also...check the infiltrate moves here. (commandos scout THREE). Otherwise, you can still pull off what you are looking for and spread a few points out...even med droids if you insist.... ++ Standard (Rebel Alliance) [759 Points] ++ + Commander + •Jyn Erso [140 Points]: Duck and Cover, Recon Intel •Luke Skywalker [187 Points]: Force Push, Force Reflexes, Recon Intel + Corps + Rebel Troopers [62 Points]: Z-6 Trooper Rebel Troopers [62 Points]: Z-6 Trooper Rebel Troopers [40 Points] Rebel Troopers [40 Points] + Special Forces + Rebel Commandos [93 Points]: Impact Grenades, Proton Charge Saboteur, Recon Intel Rebel Commandos [93 Points]: Impact Grenades, Proton Charge Saboteur, Recon Intel Rebel Commandos - Strike Team [42 Points]: Proton Charge Saboteur ++ Total: [759 Points] ++ Created with BattleScribe
  6. Ive done this before...same concept, I had more units though. Han/Chewie and some other stuff. One problem with it is how terrain can seriously screw you. Regardless, opponents are just going to focus down your 2 man units. They become a priority once a serious minefield is in place. Its virtually impossible to adequately protect three two man units that your game plan is built around. If your opponent is inexperienced enough to ignore the bombers, great fun. If not, mark down that loss. Ive thought about trying it again with two FULL squads and a strike team that hangs in the backfield to only detonate and maybe babysit an objective, but I dunno.
  7. I think she is fun. So there, nyaah!
  8. The only XBOX 1 games I play have been Skyrim and Fallout 4. Im finally level 23 in Skyrim with no cheat mods or exploits. ...but im chomping at the bit. I also didnt declare some income last year on my taxes. Im a filthy cheater.
  9. You assume wrong. Its general concensus from good players. Im sure everyone at Adepticon was an 'expert player'. 😂
  10. I think you are a bit confused. Unhindered doesnt mean anything as far as cover....hard cover, light cover....whatever. Unhindered ignores the effects of DIFFICULT TERRAIN. So I fail to see your arguement. Wookies, in a vacuum and NOT resilient. Lots of HP sure...but every hit thrown lands on them. In light terrain, where they love to be, and with duck and cover, AND with Leia lending support, can soak 3 hits for free without digging into the mounds of wounds. Hth vs Stormtroopers is HARDLY a place to be...shooting against them is WAY better sinc you have no peirce in HTH but have it with the bowcaster. Along with being an impact unit, HTH is a LAST resort....not somewhere you wanna be. My last game, a unit of Wookies DID get focused while holding an objective in the middke of the board. Shot at by several full units (including some deathtroopers) and lost a total of 2 wounds after the spent dodge and repeated light cover and supression cover. (Even against the first shot thanks to D&C.) Next turn shedding mass suppression due to indomitable. Im sure my opinion of wookies is sound. Your opinion doesnt really sound like its backed up by repeat play of multiple wookie units....like I have.
  11. Personal anecdotes dont convince me. Did you WIN adepticon? Or just happen to beat some schlub with multiple activations?
  12. Im not sure I like Sabine...she seems all over the place specialty wise with no real way to capitalise. Then again, she is a weaker solo, or a weaker Luke...so if she synergises somehow with either or both of them two you can sort of double your fun. Red dice surge save Rebel though...so theres that.
  13. 7 activations is horrible. Min activations for a decent list is more like 9...and in a list like that you better have some scary threats abound. No bid is moderate disappointment. If you lose two characters your totally hamstrung orders-wise. "fortressing" with this sort of list is a joke. Against a competetive list with 11ish activations, at the very least, whatever you push the center with is going to get shot by 3-4 shooty units. Rebels cannot handle that sort of punishment. If terrain isnt heavy you lose before you hit the table. If you are just looking to try it out for fun...more power 2 ya, I bet you will find most of this true.
  14. ++ Standard (Rebel Alliance) [795 Points] ++ + Commander + •Leia Organa [93 Points]: Environmental Gear + Operative + •Chewbacca [128 Points]: Emergency Stims, Hunter, Tenacity + Corps + Rebel Troopers [40 Points] Rebel Troopers [40 Points] Rebel Troopers [40 Points] Rebel Troopers [40 Points] + Special Forces + Wookiee Warriors [120 Points]: Bowcaster Wookiee, Duck and Cover, Recon Intel Wookiee Warriors [120 Points]: Bowcaster Wookiee, Duck and Cover, Recon Intel + Heavy + X-34 Landspeeder [174 Points]: A-300 Rifle Gunner, Long Range Comlink, Mark II Medium Blaster, Outer Rim Speeder Jockey, RPS-6 Rocket Gunner + Command Hand + Command Hand: •Ambush, •Coordinated Bombardment, ••Brains and Brawn, ••No Time for Sorrows, •••Assault, •••Somebody Has to Save Our Skins, ••••Standing Orders + Battle Cards + Condition Cards Deployment Cards Objective Cards ++ Total: [795 Points] ++ Created with BattleScribe Wookies shoot like crazy...dont be preoccupied with hth...but if they want to, we down! Duck and Cover and Leia dodges make Wookies nice and survivable with proper cover/terrain. Speeder is a flanking unit. Honestly...the Wooks and Chewie are scarier...giving speeder free reign to scoot and shoot. Troopers=objective grab and pass out suppression. 9 activations...but honestly, when the dogs get range 2...units start dying. Concentrate on killing a unit or two early while staying inside terrain and getting supported by Leia. Lose effectiveness on a unit after your 4th wound.
  15. Wookies are better off shooting. HtH against Stormtroopers sucks. Also, Leia and Duck and Cover does wonders for Wookie survivability.
