The red/orange/yellow/white is made by using diluted Citadel paints: First a layer of Evil Sunz Scarlet. Let it dry Then some Troll Slayer Orange, being careful to leave a brim of the red exposed. Let it dry Followed by a small circle of Flash Gitz Yellow mixed with a small drop of the orange. Let it dry Then I applied a thin layer of Bloodletter Glaze. Let it...yup dry And finally a small dot of Ceramite White. Done For the blue engine: Basically same procedure as outlined above but using the following paint (not using the glaze): Kantor Blue Altdorf Guard Blue Hoeth Blue Ceramite White I got some tips from a guy at the LGS but there a also good instructional vids on YouTube Enjoy -Niko-

Well an unhelpful description would be: By being very careful ;-) But more helpful: I used some water based paints and diluted them with a bit of water before applying first the darker green directly on the existing surface (I didn't use any stripping solvent or primer) with a small brush. After this had dried up I then used a brighter green (diluted a bit more than the base coat) and applied this along all the edges on the separate "tiles" and the outer edge with a VERY fine brush (Hobby Precise Detail) with just a small amount of paint. In a couple of spots I accidently applied a bit too much paint but it was easily removed by swiftly swiping away the paint with my thumb. The edges on the grey areas where done the same way by using a mix of white paint with a small drop of black paint to "grey it" a bit. Paints used: The dark green: Citadel Warpstone Glow The lighter green: Citadel Moot Green The white: Citadel Ceramite White The black: Citadel Abaddon Black -Niko-

Thx for the kind/positive feedback so far. I will gladly post more pics when I get back home and I'll include the paint names and a bit on my procedure, so please stay tuned. Hopefully the BH will be victorious in tomorrow's games and in the upcoming tourney(s) ;-)

Finally found some colours for my Firespray repaint attempt, so here is the result. Not expecting to win prizes, but I do like the result myself. Can't wait for taking it for a twerk... I mean a spin tomorrow for the Monday Game night here in Copenhagen I've also tried experimenting with some engine glow (and making an unofficiel Imperial Ace TIE-Advanced) At least it kept me off the streets and away from any mischiefs *lol* I hope you like it -Niko-

She may reroll my primary weapon any day

We/I use some cut out plexi boards to be able to let ships fly above/under each other in the 2 zones (surface and trench), this can best be seen in the first (small) photo. A nice "feature" of having the 2 surface areas made out by separate styrofoam blocks is that I can simply remove the trench surface mat and then push the 2 blocks together (I use some half inch sticks as tabs to keep the blocks "locked" together) and then I have a large surface area that easily fits a 3' x 3' game mat or I use a cut out paper strip as a border and simply play on the DS surface mat

wow this is pretty cool. i like the reinforcement rules. so what r the starting squads/squad points? I've played DagobahDave's scenario several times and used it on demo days, last time was at the annual Star Wars Weekend here in Copenahgen. Quite an attraction for the crowd and drew some spectators to our stand. I've build it as an actual "model" or trench section using som 5" thick styrofoam and a printed filt mat with a Death Star surface print as the surface link to the print is here. Turrets and exhaust port was bought from this guy http://www.combatwombatminiatures.com/star_fortress.htm he also makes surface tiles (a bit larger than the small ones listed in the tread above) My model: free jpeg images screenshot capture

A member of our group here in Copenhagen has received a mail from Wayland Games (UK) that the Imp Aces should arrive on February 14th. YAY!!!

To my knowledge we have the following scheduled so far: January 12th (Sunday): X-Wing Miniatures Tournament @Dragons Lair in Odense (yeah, I know that date has already passed, but still it's "valid info" of sorts ) January 25th (Saturday): X-Wing Miniatures Tournament @ Fantask in Copenhagen February 9th (Sunday): X-Wing Miniatures Tournament @Faraos Cigarer in Copenhagen There are 2-3 Store Championship tourneys being planned, still pending FFG's deadline/selection. And then we (Copenhagen X-Wings) play regularly on Monday nights from 18:00 until 22:30'ish This post will be updated as new tourneys are announced.

And pick up an extra Core Set. You'll get more value for the money (3 ships, dices and Damage Deck) for a very low price, then add a couple of TIE&X-Wing expansions and 1-2 Y-Wings and a Firespray

Next item on the To Do List: Managing to (somehow) stuff in some kind of gyro to have the cockpit upright itself when rotating the hul......hmmmmmm, might be tricky

I JUST experienced the absolute worst Objectives draw possible last night with this deck: all 4 objectives were Smuggler objectives and I was thus unable to play ANY Rebel cards until an objective got destroyed. It was absolutely horrible :-( Other than that, the deck have performed okay, especially against Imp Navy decks, hauling in a win with the Death Star dial just hitting 4 with a single loss of objectives myself. But I will certainly need to make some tweeks -
Hi there. Simply couldn't resist posting these links for the videos I've made to show off the Force tokens from the wonderful guys at Team Covenant: First one is a X-Mas greeting to TC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmSRk7AaxxU And #2 is just a display of the tokens safely stored (for fun) in the Bounty Hunter Code box: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTqnRJqkG-g Hope you enjoy them and not least the fab game that SW LCG is, it's really the first deck building game I've ever played (a 40 year old prior LCG "virgin" ) May the Force be with you and may you win all your edge battles

Hi there. I'm still quite new to the game, just picked it up a couple of months ago but absolutely loving it. I have clearly seen and understand the benefits of having 2 Core sets and 2 EoD sets in order to have a consistent competitive deck. However (since I have trouble with limiting my choices of objective sets) I often struggle with resisting the overwhelming temptation to put in an 11th OS here and there. I know that one may/could say that the 11th OS "dilutes" the deck but I like the extra ships, chars or resources and often I see that it works, possibly with a "lucky draw" but still. One example is this deck, apparently similar to the deck that So Cal group brought to Worlds but with an added Alderaan Promise OS: Afflilation: Smugglers and Spies (Core) Total Objective Sets: 11 2x The Defense of Yavin 4 (Core 8-1) Red Two (Core 8-2) Y-Wing (Core 8-3) Astromech Droid Upgrade (Core 8-4) Hidden Outpost (Core 8-5) Rebel Assault (Core 8-6) 2x The Rebel Fleet (Core 11-1) Home One (Core 11-2) Y-Wing (Core 11-3) Repair Droid (Core 11-4) Hidden Outpost (Core 11-5) Target of Opportunity (Core 11-6) 2x Prepare for Evacuation (A Dark Time 49-1) Renegade Squadron Escort (A Dark Time 49-2) Renegade Squadron Escort (A Dark Time 49-3) Action-series Bulk Transport (A Dark Time 49-4) Ion Cannon Burst (A Dark Time 49-5) Battle of Hoth (A Dark Time 49-6) 2x Attack Pattern Delta (The Battle of Hoth 59-1) Rogue Leader (The Battle of Hoth 59-2) Rogue Two (The Battle of Hoth 59-3) Snowspeeder (The Battle of Hoth 59-4) Snowspeeder Launch Bay (The Battle of Hoth 59-5) Battle of Hoth (The Battle of Hoth 59-6) 2x Asteroid Sanctuary (Edge of Darkness 72-1) Millennium Falcon (Edge of Darkness 72-2) Cloud City Operative (Edge of Darkness 72-3) Cloud City Guest Quarters (Edge of Darkness 72-4) Bamboozle (Edge of Darkness 72-5) Twist of Fate (Edge of Darkness 72-6) 1x Alderaan's Promise (Edge of Darkness 77-1) Bail Organa (Edge of Darkness 77-2) Tantive IV (Edge of Darkness 77-3) Alderaanian Artist (Edge of Darkness 77-4) Diplomatic Presence (Edge of Darkness 77-5) Misdirection (Edge of Darkness 77-6) Hopefully get some resource enhancements on the board or discard (Defense of Yavin 4) in order to get those big ships out in play. http://www.cardgamedb.com/index.php/starwars/star-wars-submitted-decks/_/smugglers-and-spies/smugglers-rebels-r449 What are your thought?

A couple of clarifications to the answer given above: Unless the card says "Discard" it is multi use, so basically single use goes for Missiles, Torpedos and Bombs/Mines/Seismic Charges, but also for some upgrade cards like Adrenalin Rush. But the card texts are pretty clear As Cerialthief said I also assume you mean Proton Bomb and/or Seismic Charge. If that is the question then yes, ALL ships within Range 1 gets hit, but you don't roll for it. Same goes for Assault Missiles, they automatically give 1 "Splash" Damage to ships within Range 1 IF the Defending Ship gets hit by the Attack Turrets, Cannons and other that doesn't say "Discard" can be used in each round provided that the target is within the wepons range and arch TL is necessary for launching Secondary Wepons in the Missile/Torpedo categories (unless you have Deadeye), in which case you may spend a Focus instead. The exception being Homing Missiles which states that you must discard the card itself to launch the Homing Missiles, but you may then use the TL for reroll the Attack dice. If you use TL with the primary weapon it can "only" be used for rerolls NO, Bombs/Charges/Mines are not strictly speaking Secondary Weapons Can't be answered straight out, for some crits the effect is lasting and cannot be removed (ie. Damaged Cockpit, Damaged Engine, Injured Pilot, Minor Hull Breach Stunned Pilot), but for some you may, IF you can perform an Action, roll as an Action or simply use an Action to flip the Card, but that is also stated in the Crit Damage Text. You might find this pdf document handy for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x6z86x179hz9hqr/Damage%20Deck.pdf Hope that helps

Absolutely fab, many of the guys in our gaming group already have most the the tokens from AP, and we even hooked up one of our LGS so they now carry the tokens/rulers/templates in the shop, will certainly tip them that these are available and have the LGS order some home. Keep up the good work

have you considered buying the ones from www.appliedperspective.com or http://www.litko.net/categories/Shop-By-Compatible-Game-System/Star-Wars-X-Wing/

Flew the squad tonight and it worked PERFECTLY, at all times I had the B-Wing flying close to the ORS and most of the times both aircrafts were shooting first with their PS 12. Once I even had Roark and Ten Numb close enough for Roark to bump Ten Numb up and then have Numb Swarm Tactic it back to Roark which proved (oviously) fatal to even Wedge Antilles ;-) Will certainly play the squad more times to see if it is viable against other oppononents. (Image from one of the last round where ALL ships chose 2 Turns and caused a HUUUGE thunder from the barrage that were fired aginst Wedge and Dutch) image hosting
