  1. LOL, be dismayed all you want. I do not possess your powers of being able to see in to the future and design my squad to the opponents squad/tactics. IF I had such power I wouldn't have put APL on either ship. I can say that in my first game (where Vader's First earned its first win) the APL's did do 3-4 Damage, it was quite useful to have them on so.....Part of my "point" with this Battle Report was: A) wanting to reconstruct the events and practice making a report and B) wanting to show how it is possible and/or even feasible to fly a Lambda slowly with Adv. Sensors You can have your guys call my guys so we can settle your much deserved compensation for having wasted 2-4 minutes of your precious time ;-)
  2. That is not only flat out wrong but also mind boggling illogical from a pure physics point of view since if a ship's nubs prevent it from completing its maneuver or it causes it to overlap an asteroid then the ship OVERLAPS!

  4. NP, happy to help out (possibly hoping for a "Like this" in return??) A little advice (that I've received myself too): Seems like your paint is a bit thick, do you dilute it at all or use it straight from the container? I can highly recommend diluting it a bit with water (is you are using waterbased paints) as it gives a far smoother surface without brush marks/texture
  5. Dutch MAY choose to spend a TL without rerolling any dice. With a R5-K6 he may then attempt to re acquire the TL, and if successful his ability triggers. The pivotal point is that he MUST actively say/spend the TL during the attack, otherwise it is true that he can't TL a ship he already has a TL on
  6. I do like Jendon. Slow playing him for 1-2 rounds enables him to pass on TL to ships like the BSP that otherwise don't have that ability. By dropping the Gammas down to Scims I might even consider making the BSP into Squad Leader, ensuring that both Bombers will have TL and Focus in their first (couple of?) strike(s) or an evade. Sooooo many choices ;-)
  7. Hi there, just want to toss this idea for a squad combo decision up here. My "dilemma" is the choice between running either Jonus or Jendon in this squad: The Squad core consists of 2x Gamma Sq. Pilot with Assault Missiles 1x Black Sq. Pilot with Shield Upgrade and Draw Their Fire And then the choice is between Jonus w. PTL, Assault Missiles and Shield Upgrade or Jendon w. ST-321, FCS, Merc. I'm really not looking for initiative since I would like to have the Gammas to be able to gain their TL them self if needed against a PS4 squad The BSP and shields on both him and Jonus are an "insurance" against devastating Crits It should be potentially very lethal against swarms if the Assault missiles go through. Thoughts? (Edit: It should be Weapons Engineer, not Merc. Co-pilot on Jendon. This meas I have to drop a point somewhere, possibly changing a Gamma to a Scim)

  17. This might have been a subconscious decision with Valentine's Day coming up, but it has been a thing I've been toying with for a while. So here I present for the first time: The Imperial Aces Shuttle!!! It's still very much a work in progress, needs many details, weathering and haven't decided on Engine Glow colours.....

I do the same, and I've also painted it black (so now it's not an "Opposite-of-black Galactic yak") and will make some more weathering and possibly also redo my attempt at engine glow: I will most likely do another one in "Imperial Guard" Red and when both are done the wings will likely be glued in the up folded position since the paint job will otherwise be scraped by the folding up & down

My advice based on my experiences with Jendon (with satisfactory results): I would go with Weapons Engineer, Advanced Sensors and certainly keep the ST-321 but drop the EU and consider either Rebel Captive. My reasons for the advice: The Advanced Sensors allows you to more efficiently slow play/creep Jendon forward and take actions prior to making the red 2 Turn and thus still have many options. Engine upgrade is great for trying to get the shuttle turned around if/when you pass your enemy, but I prefer to try avoiding getting in that position and quite often the shuttle doesn't survive til that point of the game if one pushes it forward to soon/fast. If the points are still available then an Ion cannon might be ok to slow down your opponents. Low agility ships. I say low agility because TIE's and similar 3 Agility ships will (quite) often evade the 3 Ion dice. But this is all just my opinion. For an example of how I used Jendon in a game please take a look at my Battle Report for "Vader's Fist victory!!" In the Battle Report section ;-)

  22. But a ship with Primary Weapon Value of zero would still gain the +1 at Range 1, right?? The Weapons Malfunction doesn't say "Discard your primary weapon" where Munitions Failure actually says "Immediately choose one of your secondary weapon Upgrade cards and discard it. Then flip this Damage card facedown."
