  1. Great report, Mac! I agree, I will miss everyone as well... such a great community...
  2. Would love to know if there has been any movement on an update as well. I am trying to teach new players and these squad lists with the details and explanations are incredible.
  3. I look forward to being back this Summer to sling some SW LCG with anyone that would still be interested. I'm not selling my cards... but it's still so sad that the game got canned...
  4. Thanks for the update, Micky Mac! . Looking forward to throwing my rusty talents at you again this summer when I return.
  5. I was so excited to play this game competitively after a nearly year-long hiatus! I was humbled and overwhelmed by not only the turn out, but also by the number of old and familiar and new and unknown faces that showed up to the EC. Mic runs a great event! I had a blast and look forward to seeing everyone again in a few weeks!
  6. Hey! Can we maybe start talking dates for a store/local tournament? June 11 (Sat) or June 12 (Sun)? Too early? Otherwise, I am hopeful I can come up a few times during a game night to update my collection with the newest sets...
  7. Looking forward to playing with you guys this summer...
  8. I think I actually agree that the core decks are your best bet since they don't add newer more advanced mechanics. Additionally, they are also smaller decks so the games play faster. Not only that, the Core Set decks use a variety that are easy to have just ready to go at a moment's notice... Jedi Deck Objective sets: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 18 Rebel Alliance Deck Objective sets: 8, 9,10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18 Sith Deck Objective sets: 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 36 Imperial Navy Deck Objective sets: 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 36 I just think it makes sense to just keep these decks sleeved and ready to play so you can teach a new player... once they "get it" then you can maybe build more advanced decks for them to try. However, since you seem to really want to use newer cards, you can also build "Highlander" (one-of) type decks from these decks by adding two more objective sets from more recent sets... I guess I haven't thought what those might be, but I guess it's an idea you could consider.
  9. Wow. Thank you, Adam. I know the amount of time this takes to do is not a small amount.
  10. Thanks, Adam! Nice work! I will see what I can do about images... but for the moment, I might be a bit preoccupied too...
  11. Way to go Shad! I had a fun tournament and can't help but feel a little vindicated that I was swept by both Shad and Jens in a few close games. Congrats to both for game play and the nice deck builds. Also, thanks to Mick for the update!
  12. Hope to see a ton of people at the EC this weekend for the Regional!
  13. I'd like to add to your post and to what Mac said... We use to play on Friday nights, then moved to Monday's, then settled on Tuesdays, but now are not sure what our "night" is. I'm leaning towards Friday's again myself... Hope to see you and your wife there sometime!
  14. We had 7 players show up last night for casual gaming and trying out some new decks at the FFG EC. Tentative tournament scheduled for Sunday, April 19...
  15. Yes we are! Will you and your lovely wife be up for a few games?
