  1. Really great job on the painting! Hoe do you make so small outlines on the stormtroopers? What pensil do you use? I dont use expensive pensils because they surtainly wont survive more the the first 4 mini's. Also where dus you het the ewoks from? They all look different. Where did you get the stormtroopers behind the e-web from? Love your painting, hope to be as good one day.
  2. Those guys dont exactly are in shooting position.
  3. Hi, am i the only one who things e-webb expansion should also be a Stormtrooper and scout trooper expansion? I love the e-webb but i dont like the idea of having a Snowtrooper mounting it in the dessert or a forest. It doesn't make sence. Also i think every gear related expansion should be for all shorts of troopers for thematic perposes. What do you guys think? And: what is the chance FFG will do this?
  4. nice hope it will have some good stuff in there
  5. Thanks Guys for awnsering. Still i find it strange that for deciding damage on a group of henchmen with eg each 3 wounds and soak 1 you only reduce damage with 1 soak. Eg damage is 5 minus 1 soak (no def. Etc.) Means 4 damage thus 1 kill and 1 damage on other. But rhst other One has soak also. So that would be no damage……
  6. Hello i have some questions about creatures and npc's. I have the Creature vault since i like the cards as quick reference more then sheets in the books. But i dont have the Creature guide. 1: The rule is that a group of npc have the same stats, cards and dice. When a player attacks the group and deals damage this is reduced from the total number of wounds. eg 3 npc wih total of 12 wounds. When 4 damage is dealt this means 1 npc is dead and anotherone has 1 wound. But this is calculated on the soak valua of only one npc (eg stat is 1 soak)? This seems to me as incorrect since both npc have soak… 2: I presume creatures, npc have 1 free manouevre as PC have (where is it mentioned)? 3: Each manoeuvre extra is turned into a wound since fatigue doesnt apply to NPC. And stress also? 4: Does anyone play NPC's as if they are PC in terms of fatigue and stress? I find this tempting because in that way NPC can get Insane or strained etc 5: How many action cards can NPC have? (where is it mentioned?) 6: If one action card is used all other henchmen in group cant use it anymore untill it has recharged. This reduces the flexibility of use… no 2 npc in group can use the same card in the same turn. PC know then that this attack wont be played for a while etc…. what do you think of this? 7: The A/C/E gives the number of dice that can be rolled during encounter. Is this number multiplied? for a group of eg 6 henchman( 3x6=18?)? 8: The misfortune dice count against the (fortune) dice pool (A/C/E).? 9: On the creature cards from the Vault there are some cards having a sword on them or 2 swords eg. on the Wargor, Miniataur. What does those mean? thanks beforehand Umgrimm

    links?

Hello; as i was reading an Eye for an Eye and The Gathering Storm i was thinking where and when the other expansions and adventures take place. I like to connect stories to eachothers and have links between them very often. What i like to now is some: names of characters and ther profesion/role in other expansions (dont need to be leading characters!); some town names and location names (Inn, Tavern, blacksmith, etc.) and who is the character managing it; some events/rumors which take place in the expansions; timeline when it takes place. Hope some of you have expansions and want to tell me something about it Thanks
  11. hey; yes i will post also in Gm threat. But thought this is page everyone sees so i hoped for faster and more repies thanks anyway..

  13. thanks i saw some things in errata about Insanity also. But i still find it a bit tricky. I like the insanity cause then it isnt all about hitting hard and getting fatiqued. You have to mind more things that way I dont have deseases and shame expansions. Just beginning with the corebook and gathering storm. What i like is more storylines crossing eachother so that players say hey but… o wait. And are perhaps mistaken or tricked into things they shouldnt have done when they knew who's behind them. Cheers
  14. thank you so much. I will download the errata and the living guide. I forgot one thing i am not that sure about. Insanity. Can you tell me if i am correct? (page 67) When you need to draw a Insanity Card, you place it open on the table when it match the situation. When you have to draw again and the card also match the situation you place that card also on the table and add a token to it. a third time you draw and matches again, you place the new open and add 2 tokens? When strained you have to draw till it matches. When there is already a card open you still draw till one matches and add 1 token. Thereafter you put tokens on the second card ? when fatigue or stress is suffered. When you have to draw again you take a thirth card and add one token and for every stress and fatigue after you place another token on it? Getting rid of Insanity: WP check (i presume with misfortune dice for stress level) (challenge die?). If you roll succes equal or higher then the number of tokens on it it is removed and back to the deck. Otherwise it is permanent (page 67). Recovering from insanity is the check to get rid of permanent insanities (page 68)? One check can be made every month (playtime) one for one severity (so if severity is 3 you need to make 3 checks and takes 3 months?at least). When do you succeed the test? WP plus misfortune and when succes you have recoverd one severity? Am i on the right track or not? thanks beforehand
  15. i have got some questions about the rules after reading the corerulebook which i cant figure out. Talent cards focus: Serene: when using willpower checks to recover stress you may recover one additional stress. What willpower check are we talking about here? I cant find any check that does that. Skill specialization: when a check must be made on a specialized skill can only the ones with the specialazation do this? or only the one with the corresponding groupskill trained? Also it says one of the benefits of completing a carreer u get specializations. How many specializations are we talking about here? specializations where you have trained the groupskill or one in each carreer skill? Is there a list of which checks can be made with specializations? I find it somewhat difficult to figure out what checks can be made with so many specialisations (or even more if you come up with things yourself). Weapons: start weapon is mentioned as a light crossbow. What are the stats? I can only find crossbow on the weapon ref. sheet. Also a bow is mentioned but i can see only a longbow and a shortbow. Is there a bigger list somewhere to get idea's from? Weapons and gear: do they last forever? I was thinking weapons need to be taken care of (fixed) just like gear before it is permanly damaged and cant be used anymore. In this way services are make more sence (skill blacksmith?or leatherworking where can those be put in?). Why are some skills advanced skills? Those are not advances of basic skills…. or are they? I would say if you have first aid trained for instance you may now take advance medicine for just one cost… But not all advanced skills are followups of basic skills (at least i cant see relation between them). Actions: on many action cards is mentiond support, social or teamwork, social or reaction, social. Can everyone get the action cards with teamwork, support and reaction? And who can use judgement? The traits dont seem to fit with carreer traits…. page 60 rulebook: in the example in the rulebook there is an elve who pulls his bow with free manoeuvre. And the prepares it with another manoeuvre because it is said on the actioncard accurate shot. I cant find the text on it that says prepare before shoothing. Or do i missread something? Are there more advanced actions beyond rank 2 coming? since you can level up higher then rank 2….. Opposed and unopposed checks. tekst in rulebook is confusing me (page 58 point 4.) It says GM must see what it is and then there is something about defence points and then there is something about opposed and unopposed but i cant see relation. Seems that something isnt in the right tekstual position. When is unopposed and when opposed (in battle?) Economics and social checks: eg. buying gear. Do you do this often? Can u give some examples of bargening/dealing? And some more detailed examples of some social skillchecks? there isnt that much in the rulebook and since i dont know when to use whcih precise social skill i find this the most difficult aspect of the game. But i like to put more then enough in it feels so more realistic then only fighting. this are some guestions i can come up with now perhaps someone can awnser some? thanks

  18. thanks for the explaining. I really was curious how movement worked since i am used to play on grids and the characters move with their speed and then attack etc. But your explanation is good. It works all the same i see but only without the grid or one can make one . only remains the thing that monsters or enemies have to escape somehow and you have to hold/get them before they get to point x etc. how does it work? or can it work.. Also about leveling and monster stats i was curiuos how it worked when you had seay a level 5 char and moved to an adventure which uses level ? monsters. But with the skulls you can manipulated their strenght and so be more of a challenge. I like that. thanks for all awnsers so far
  19. hello and thanks again; i played some D&D and also SWRP a long long time ago. What i remember of it that there was maps on which you could manouvre your character on (movement) thus coming into contact with thugs and in and out of range rules etc My question about movement was bases on those fond memories. Is there any kind of such movement. How does it work in Warhammer? Wehn a character gets xp and spends it it grows in power. The guestion about bringen those characters to a new pre made adventure by FF. Eg you done the coreset adventures and grow in power. How does this compare to the creatures/enemies in the new adventure. are those also stronger? I mean if you have a rank 4 character brought to a new adventure but the difficulty of creatures/enemies is based on rank 1? How does it work? thank you so far
  20. hey thanks for the fast replies nd advice I understand it better now but cant place some things. The coreset i need for dices and crds i get that now . But i thought it was a good ide to get at least the creature fault since all creatures hace cards that way and easy to play? Dont know about player and gm vault? So thats why i thought faults were a good thing to get also? I like cards because you dont have to look up everything and they speed up the progress for both gm and players and draws The preset dventures and campaign i mentioned are good? You advice to get the winds of magic and other boxes with new rules etc. Why those and not adventures first?you more into the game. Also i still dont know what is maximum level of a character? and how it works in relation to adventures and campaigns. Can i bring my character from one adventure to another when it has eg level 4? How does it work with npc attackers? I like the idea that one can level a character as far as possible and can do all adventures with it without getting to easy etc. If there are no time and spaces how works movement then? I am curiuos (or dumb) I only have experience in movement games. Movement which get you next to creature and other places How does this work out in warhammer the? do you only get play combat? without moving? also are there things that when u choose option a (from a, b, c or d) that the game haas another turn about and therefore you can miss some things which could have been important at the end? Hope i dont ask to many dumb questions… greets
  21. Hey; i want to start RPG and warhammer fantasy triggered me. I was thinking about the core set. But then i saw that there were new releases for Player, GM and Monsters (+faults). If i buy those what do i miss from the core set (beside dices)? Is the core still needed? Also if i buy core set and only the vaults, do i miss something (the new player, gm, monsters guide?). There is also a toolkit. Do i need that? I was thinking to buy: Coreset, vaults, Gathering storm campaign, witches song, Edge of night. (are those the only adventures/campaigns?) Is that enough to play the game? do i miss something important? Secondly i was thinking how the adventures and campaign(s) must beseen in relation to eachother. Are they loose games or do they follow eachother? can u start the next adventure with your prefious made character (which has now level 4…?) Or do you have to start over from level 1? Thirth: What is the max level a character can achief?? (how fast?) Fourth: I am not a GM focused player. Is it hard to make new campaigns/adventures? How long takes it to play the existing adventures/campaings. Are there different sideways in it? I mean by that: if you perhaps by example rescued 4 out of 7 hostidges is the game other then when you had managed to get to free 5,6 or7 out of 7? Or if you had succeeded in stopping the boss of getting away. Does the game have alternative acts? fifth: are there miniatures for the characters? sixth: are there tiles (maps) whre you can play on? seventh: are there more adventures sceduled to be released? eight: there is a new star wars rpg. Does this game have just as many cards etc as warhammer rpg (or upcoming?)? I hope someone or more can awnser some or all of these guestions for me thanks
  22. fantastic painting! very good paintjob. Can u tell me how you painted those choppers and walkers? You mentioned airbrush. So u sprayd the base colour and then u put some darker colour where u wanted and blend brushed it? (what is that?). How did u make the rusty/used/weathered effects? alsowhat colours did you used on the green and grey choppers? Brand and colourtype? Keep up the good work and hopefully i can post my SSU army soon
  23. first: fantastic paintjob!! real nice work. second: what colours did u use? brandname and exact colourname. I am new to Dust Warfre and want to paint my army as much in the exact colours of FF. Perhaps u can help me? Did u finish more? Infantry or choppers? I like to see some pictures of them if possible. Greetings and continue with the good painting you have done
