Thank you that's a great help. One last question about a keyword. For Ranged. Does the player the creature is engaged with have to have an attacker for a ranged character to attack or could the player enganged with just defend and another player with ranged attacks it?

So i have a question about this keyword. I've been reading online blogs of the game (seemed credible but now more confusing) and they implied that they attatch two (for example) spears of the citadel on the same character. I know a single character cant hold more than one restricted, so no spear of citadel and citadel plate one one character. That is correct right, as per the keyword right?
My question is this, If an armour or weapon do not have the restricted keyword. can a character hold more than one armour or weapon? It seems silly that a single character sports two armours and three weapons at a time.
I dont know of any without the restricted keyword off the top of my head so, maybe this question is just hypothetical. -
Alright wanting to join in on this,
1) with Eleanor as a hero, she says "discard that card and relpace it with the next card from the encounter deck" when exhausting to cancel a treachery, so doe that mean it is not technically "revealed" ? This seems to make her awefully powerful.
2) The rule book near the end offers a house rule to avoid using shadow cardswhen introducing the game to new people. I was wondering if anyone had any input on how much this takes away from the game.
3) Surge and doomed resolves at any time shown not only "when revealed" right? -
I can't pretend to understand how a smaller pool is comforting xD thank you for the responce.
On that same note, then i should play as if there were two players for card effects right?

Okay, although I have understood a second core would helo greatly in deckbuilding, I can't help but ask:
what are the possibilities with this, After thinking about it If you wish to have four decks, they either would have to be mono sphere (which would be lacking some support since very few cards in the core didnt already have three copies of cards) or they would be decks with two sphere variants of the other but at the end (partially because i do not have funds to buy more copies of expansions, i bearly own the ones i have now) wouldnt two of the decks end out being much more powerful than the other two? I've thought about this and buying a second core sounds like a good idea but i cannot help but think this all.
Can anyone invoke reason into my rant please? -

By a two handed solo. Are you all using two separate decks and playing as both players or am i missing somehting? -
Wow, thank you i really appreciate it. I'll definately look into the second core and the Mirkwood expansions, i havent been able to find any of them though :/. Eitherway you helped alot, thank you!
Also, with the cards i have (since this post ive gotten the Hobbit overand under) I have worked into two two-sphere decks. Between Leadership and wisdom and tactics and lore. how would you say these combinations would work together and alone? -
I'be begun to play this game more frequently lately and have a few friends to play with. I was wondering what would probably be useful to do with one Core Set, Khazad-dum and Heirs of Númenor. With one Redhorn gate expansion.
Itseems to me that single spheres are the best way to go but I feel as if i need a second core set to make this possible. Would it be possible to attack harder quests like flight from moria. Even slightly easier quests like Into the Pit pose a problem.
Would i need to get another core set of would what I have suffice? And for either idea, how could i make four usable decks?
I hope someone has figured this out before. Thank you for your time.

Okay so i've been tinkering with a deck that mainly supports a mono-tactics deck. I've tried it on a few of the delux/core quests and has worked alright, beore any further play testing i would like to have any kind of imput from anyone on here.

(also i tried the deckbuilder on another thread and it gave me a nice deck list so i thought why not)
The only expansions i have available to me at the moment are the Core, Kdm, HoN, Over and under hill, hunt for gollum, return to Mirkwood and Red Horn gate. but I'm open to any suggestions from others.
Lastly remember that this is mostly to support, I dont beleive it has solo capabilities, unless it does.. then let me know
