    9/19 was the first report of Wave 5 being on the boat. (the Upcoming page says 10/2 because that's when the Expected By date was changed to Q4)

    That estimates landfall and shipping to distributors around the 1st week of November.  Hopefully in our hands in the 2nd or 3rd week of November, max.

    I am so in love with this idea. I just wish there were cheaper missile boats with an EPT, it would be a fantastic answer to a swarm without dominating your list.

    Blount with assault and ruthlessness.

     

    EDIT: I just realized that taking blount with ruthlessness and nothing else, makes him an assault missile factory as every attack for him as to "hit".

     

     

    Fortunately Ruthlessness is Imperial Only.

    My local LGS says it sells a lot more Attack Wing too.  I don't even see any XWing on their shelves anymore.

    Black felt play surface.

    I also upgraded my bases with 1/10 inch thick mouse pad that I cut out and glued to their undersides using Elmer's all purpose spray glue.  1/10 inch seems perfect.  Any more and the bases sit higher.  If you plan on playing in tournaments, you should leave the bases you take unmodified.

    There didn't seem to be an omg thread about it shipping, except a smallish one about Miniature Market.  I picked mine up at my LGS yesterday (they only received one, I ordered two...).  It might be a bit before I really try them in a game because my group is switching between games and it might be a while before we get back around to XWing again.

    C-3PO on Farlander.  I had not considered that.

     

    I tried a Farlander (proxy)/Janson/Horton squad that pretty well wasted the competition in casual games. 

     

    I consider Opportunitist to be a must on Keyan.  And Wes firing first to set up Keyan is just mean.

     

    I wish my LGS hadn't been stiffed by their distributor for the first shipment of Aces, otherwise I'd have it in hand by now :(

    I tried a 5x Black Squadron + Predator and Night Beast last night against Chewbacca, Luke and Horton.

    I realized I don't really need to fly them as a swarm.  I can be more dynamic.  Although flying as a swarm helps keep them organized.

     

    I won, by the way.  The opponent did damage where he could but didn't focus on destroying ships.

    I took out Luke first, then Chewbacca, then Horton.

     

    I believe I only lost one ship.
