I tend to think FFG sales would be hurt by this, so I'm hesitant.
Second market sales at least forces those suppliers to purchase the full sets from FFG so they can keep making more XWing stuff.
-
I was going to say, I want the big ship anyway so I'm willing to pay for it. but the others make a great point - soon after release you'll be able to buy the individual cards from someone somewhere.

I was going to say. Updated to On the boat with a release date of Q4 2014? Right!
-
The EU was bound to have some things in common with Ep 7. Han and Leia get together, so sure they'll have kids, and sure there will be some conflict around them. Star Wars is partly about family.
It also only makes sense that Imperial remnants would exist despite falling into chaos after the death of the Emperor, some cells operating better than others.

I played a Ociunn Dauntless Decimator + 2 Black Squadrons against a Fat Han and HLC YT-2400.
My ships got into the 1-range dead zone of the YT-2400 for a turn to cause some havoc. After the YT-2400 was down, I was chasing the Falcon, ramming it from the backside. That was fun
The Falcon can't flee from collisions forever on a 3x3 mat - it has to turn! :devilish:I think next time I'll trade the Intimidation upgrade for Daredevil to give myself a chance at two collisions in one round.

That's awesome

-
That's the only reason? Huh, I thought I had made more distinctions than that.
-
Nice. The X-Wings kicking up the water, the camera movements before the stormtroopers disembark, and the very dynamic camera movement following the Falcon are much more Abrams than Star Wars, or maybe just current movie making sensibilities... but it's looking good!
-
The comments suggest it isn't real. That looks good though.
I was a little hesitant at how the extra explosions appear on the Calamari cruiser as its front section separated. I tend to think that isn't how Abrams would have done it.

I want mine to be here. But they aren't, they're somewhere else

Always 6+ weeks on the boat. Wave 5 took 8-9 weeks on the boat.
Enough of us can figure this out for ourselves by this point.
It would be nice if FFG kept the Upcoming page properly updated as situations arise, but it's probably better to post a date when the status actually changes instead of continuing to advance it as a guess.
If they put down Q1 2015, would we believe them? I would hope a padding of 3 months would be enough... but I don't know.

Order Status Complete/Verified! (I pre-ordered on 10/10)

A local FLG lists their release date as 11/24.
Edit: SHIPPED! *running around flailing*
Edit: First attempt failed, the apt office was closed when they arrived!

When I walked out of Episode I, all I could think was, "That was Star Wars?"
I'm hoping when I'm in the theater watching Episode VII there aren't a lot of trolls yelling indignities to interrupt the enjoyment of people who actually care. I don't know how much kids today trolled on the internet and take that into the real world. In my day you were indignant in the real world and took that into the internet.

*eyes MiniMarket order status*
nope, not shipped yet...

Army Painter now do a laser line tool, appropriately called TARGETLOCK: Here you go
I purchased one of those (thanks!) but the line is slightly curved

sigidi reported similar luck. I guess I should have ordered a few and went with the best one.

Here's the possible quote I would fear:
"X-Wing is successful. Now let's see how we can REALLY make it successful!"
-
Yeah, I'm doubting the Decimator will even fit in my usual tackle box solution. I might have to settle for a pluckfoam plastic gun case like I did for the huge ships.
-
I cut out the plastic they are packaged in so I can lay them over the compartments in my tackle box and close the cover over them nice and snug. This also leaves room underneath them for everything else.
-
If you mean why don't they list an actual release date for brand newly announced products, there are too many factors out of their control once it goes to the factory for printing, then shipping to the states, then shipping to distributors then stores.

Nice! Does MM usually ship on date or ship for date arrival?
I ask because tourney on 11/29. I guess I could ways use another..
It varies slightly. I attribute it to aliens. You might or might not ship early depending on when you pre-ordered.

Fourth Faction my guess Droid army.
