We had a game night at our workplace one weekend in January. Someone asked for me to bring in XWing one night so he could try it. It's now a weekly thing, and I'll call that good enough. We've started making our own squads instead of letting me make a single interesting squad matchup. Squads that win advance to the next week. It makes for some nice variety and I get to see how different squads fight. Once a week I think is good for me, but I'd be happier playing 2 full games, on after the other, instead of just one.

3 Green Squadron AWings with Assault missiles, Deadeye to drop the lock requirement in round 1, and Biggs to escort?

My only issue with MM has been spamming the order page watching for my pre-order to actually ship. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. Pre-ordering early might not necessarily make you one of the earlier customers that they process when they receive stock. The actual method they use for determining where your order is in the sequence of processing is a subject of great speculation, and very likely, influenced by aliens.

3 of each, except Z95s - I ordered 6 of those.

- Matte clear contact paper on the dials before assembly so the maneuvers don't rub off with use - Sharpie paint pens (black, red, lime, aqua, etc.) to paint the edges of the tokens, including painting matching blue/red target locks the same color - 0.1" thick mouse pad attached to the bottom of all bases using spray Elmer's glue - Plano 5231/3952 boxes for storage (with some minor modifications for storing the large bases) - Play surface: Gale Force 9 red nebula mat when I want to be fancy, or a 3'x3' sheet of black felt for $4 - Clear card sleeves, large and small

Ist easy to schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und corkenpoppen mit airen cracken.

The visual factor with nice ship models and bright colors, luck-strategy ratio from die rolls and maneuvering, and quickness and ease of play all blend very nicely here. I also like how you can come up with some crazy ship builds (Hypermobile B-Wing with Advanced Sensors, Push the Limit and Engine Upgrade, Rabbit style Millenium Falcon with Expert Handling and Engine Upgrade) to turn the game into a battle of maneuvering. I have yet to figure out how to get in behind and stay there, but I'm learning.

I just received notice that my Imperial Aces x2 have been delivered. But they are at the landlord's and I can't get them until tomorrow morning. Sadface.

That's nice. Mine have not. Still marked as processing pre-order. The site still lists the product as pre-order, so it's strange that some are shipping and some are not. I ordered mine on 3/1. When did you order yours? There's still a theory that the earlier pre-orders ship first. This will be important information when Wave 4 releases!

Try again. Unless you mean two Royal Guards. Then ignore me. Hmm, you are correct according to the card preview. I was trusting what http://xwing-builder.co.uk/build allowed too much. I'll come up with a different 2nd upgrade for Mr. Lorrir. ... Shield Upgrade! Block that crit!

I'll be flying the Tank along with a Royal Guard+Ptl+Stealth+Targeting Soontir Fel and double Stealthed Royal Guard Lorrir in my next game after Aces arrive. Thank you for the article! Edit: Hmm, I could fly the Buzzsaw instead... same point value. Options!

Mine finally shipped from MiniMarket. They will arrive Tuesday.

As I put more thought into this, it seems it will take an average of 3 attempts to steal a container if you lose the tokens. That means it takes an average of 6 rounds for the Rebels to win. It would be pretty easy to get any remaining containers across the finish line in 6 rounds. So resetting the tokens on a steal would cut it pretty close randomwise. Knowing there is a super stealer on the board would pretty much obligate all forces to destroy the ship.
-
In the scenario included with the Millenium Falcon (where the rebels need to steal 2 containers being escorted by the Imperials), you gain a token when you fail a steal attempt, which helps with the smuggling ship's next attempt. The rules do not state that you lose these bonus tokens when you successfully steal a container. Does that mean if a ship gains two tokens because of two awful rolls, it now becomes a super stealer for the rest of the game until either the smuggler token is moved or the ship is destroyed? Thanks.

Miniature Market's Imp Ace pre-orders are being pocessed now
Pygon replied to Bjorn Rockfist's topic in X-Wing
Yeah, I pre-ordered Wave 4 and the status is "Processing Multiple Pre-Orders" already. I keep spamming my account page watching for the Aces order to change to Shipped. No luck yet -
Are you dashing my hopes that Wave 4 will be available in April?
-
Hmm, Games Lab can't sell those until 3/14 huh? Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is a shore town. Could use a submerged approach. Gotta be some spare submarines somewhere.

March 17!? Nooooooooooo....
-
It's not Amazon, it's some guy who uses Amazon's shopping cart service. That date has no more authority than some random guy on a forum claiming something. I guess you're right. I just checked my MiniMarket order, and it is in "Processing Pre-Order" status. If I recall correctly, that's the status of an order that could ship Soon™!
-
Amazon just updated their release date to March 14 AUUUUUGH *spam spam*
-
Interest tends to get feral as the release date approaches. Amazon lists March 7 as the release date. I've been watching my order status at MiniMarket all week.
-
I have a going theory that when the time finally comes and they get the stock in, the earliest pre-orders get serviced first. There is a chance, however unlikely, that they will find a weakness, and exploit it - wait, no - that they won't get quite enough stock in on the first shipment to fulfill all their pre-orders. I think they usually get a second batch around a week after the first one. So, if you want Wave 4, order it soon, and hopefully, you'll be among the first shipment receivers instead of waiting for your shipment to come in while everyone else is posting "I luv em I luv em I luv em!"

The Darth Vader card uses the phrase "suffer damage" which is understood to have to consume shields before it can affect hull. Edit: I am ninja!
