  1. How exciting! Hopefully, this will breathe new life into the stale IA skirmish meta. This reminds me of a similar project when Wizards of the Coast discontinued their Star Wars Miniatures Game. As I recall, WotC approved the fan site to continue supporting their game. Cards were adjusted, and even new cards created for existing figures. It’d be great if FFG would back the IA Continuity Project, so all skirmish players would be on board. I’d love to see IA cards for some Legion figures, like Jyn Erso.
  2. I had assumed these would come out along with the rest of Wave 2. Any news on when they might see store shelves?
  3. Anyone have spare Riot Troopers cards? I'm looking for 1 elite Riot Trooper card (campaign), 1 elite Riot Trooper card (skirmish), and 4 regular Riot Trooper card (campaign).
  4. I've never understood the point of threads like this. Are you trying to convince us to go with you? May I have your stuff?
  5. I've said for years that I'd love to see a separate, but compatible game called "Jedi Starfighter" or something, with the factions Republic and Separatist. That way it'd be easy for players to decide on their own whether to pit Anakin against Vader or not. TOs could announce which factions were legal for their events.
  6. A popular tactic in my area is moving out from behind cover, attacking, then moving back behind cover, which is both effective and thematic. However, I noticed on page 11 of the FAQ that "A figure must end its movement to perform an attack." Does this mean that a figure loses any remaining movement points when it attacks?

  8. Me, too. I don't mind the directions the characters have gone, with the exception of Phasma's pointless death. Build her up as a bad-***, flesh her out with a novel and comic series, then a space janitor bests her in combat? Of course, Boba Fett was taken out accidentally by a blind guy... What I dislike are the gaping plot holes and profoundly lazy writing. Nothing the Resistance or First Order did made much sense. Suspension of disbelief? Not an issue after Starkiller Base.
  9. And some of them have the ability to objectively assess a movie, not just mindlessly fawning over any poorly-written schlock with Star Wars in the title.
  10. Agreed. While the First Order does get a very flimsy explanation in the EU, it really seems to be a matter of J.J. wanting to basically reset everything back to the glory days of the original trilogy. The First Order is more or less the Empire, while the Resistance is essentially the Alliance.
  11. Unfortunately, the screenwriters seem to just be making everything up as they go along, with no overarching plan:(.
  12. I'm also hoping for a Snoke/First Order backstory. But I recall that Emperor/Empire didn't get a backstory for 20 years...
  13. Can anyone point me to a list of the names and quantities of the cards in Imperial Assault products? Do any of them include multiples, besides Deployment cards, condition cards, and the different-tiered variants of Combat Coat and Laminate Armor? Thanks!
  14. Please see this thread for my X-Wing, Armada, and Imperial Assault swag:
