I for one would never collect cardboard anything...I have collected miniatures for the last century . Back in the day it was lead then pewter after which came resin ; and now recently 3d plastic....Cardboard takes away the Zeal for me...I just hope FFG does nott keep adjusting the scale...Once is enough for me....Never give up ,Never surrender

I think FFG figured out that in order to make larger ships that would not break the the bank ; they would have to slightly reduce the scale....So far it looks like they will please those with epic aspirations and the Dogfighting enthusiasts.... The plus side is that they have stated that these 2 are part of a totally diff gaming system and set apart from the X- Wing game....It will nott interfere or hinder the current game.... The ships are painted and detailed and as long as they stay consistent with the new scale I do nott see anything worth complaining about....... looking forward to seeing what else the mystic wizards have in store for us all....Never give up,Never surrender

I was somewhat dissapointed on the ships that they started with ; these are the same 2 that are avilable now on ebay and sometimes for the same price as well lol....Was hoping to see the senators shuttle and assault ships...It will be interesting to see the next ships in this new Mod....This should appease the players on the other side of the fence that want to see epic battles and at the same time keep the current game seperate ....Never give up, Never surrender

FFG has already stated point blank that three are only Imperial and Rebel ships for this game......I honestly do nott see them making capital ships either; but this does nott rule out third parties from making their own version to use with x-wings....This does nott stop us from going beyond the game and creating a pirate faction......and bounty hunter faction as well...The possibilities for these are endless.....Never give up,Never Surrender

Have you toyed with the notion of using deceptive ships as well......some ships have the capability to appear on the radar as another ship and until you are in firing range it is too late.....same thing would go for cloaked ships too....this would definitely lengthen the game but would add a twist to the strategy ......Never give up,Never surrender

Thnx IG sent an email…..as to rest of post the fighters were ito be used only for escorting the rebel transport and they were nott going to risk losing one…..The snow speeders were designed for cold weather battle engagements ….The At-At had an intensified heavy re-inforced armour plating and were vulnerab le to blaster fire at the joints when exposed….I do like this scenario mod done so far …..would be kool to see some pics too…..I ended up getting 3 hoth battle scenes dirt cheap based on size chart on the space ship site…long before I stumbled on this site….cest la vie….Never give up, Never surrender

Seems like that the same scuttle type of venues are here in the US as well.The only one listed nearest me is hrs away..Yet there is a gamers den that is hosting one in my area that is nothing more than just that.. tables and chairs.. and extreme cover charge to boot .I asked my Hobby shop that has twice the space if they were going to have one.They told me no..They applied and never got a response..They had no word that the Yuppy den had gotten one…As far as they knew it was hrs away in 4 diff directions…From what I have seen and heard there will be countless areas across the US and abroad that were given the Kessel run and others that were passed up.. .Needless to say when wave 2 comes out there will be flooded orders for 2 mos, and then they will be drooling for the anticipation for wave 3, appetizers, and release…Never give up,Never surrender
