I saw Star wars 13 times...Each time I brought 5 friends to come and see it with me...It was so freakin amazing of the unique special effects , plot , story-line , and acting...I used to watch Buck Rodgers when I was a kid and saw where olé George used a lot of his cliff hanging scenes ; and cinematic magic...For me the aura slowly faded away as each movie seemed less and less unique...Wierd that as advanced technology became available ; creativity slowly faded away...I still get a severe migraine watching the monster battle scene in the clone wars ; arena battle sequence...Back to Op : I never thought we would see Huge ships...Now rumors of the Black sun ?...Only time will tell...I do know there was a mischievous grin when FFG was asked about future Epic ships in the Future lol

I remember seeing a group down in Australia that had built an SSD that was made of wood and it is 1\270...

Would be interesting to see the Gozanti with some ties...I have this in 1\350 ...Strike class cruiser would open up the planetary invasion for Epic conquests...I do love the Vigil a mini version of an SSD...

Talked to a B & N Manager yesterday after I got off work..He stated that this was really weird; everything is done on a Corporate standpoint..If one store is liquidating a product, then the other stores will do the same...There is no word of a closeout sale at this time for FFG merchandise , and they are still restocking shelves...Oddly enough he is an X-wing player...He is getting his ships here and now worried about the possibility of a major ripple in the Force...His guess was to make room for Disney Products...

I think that you have to bear in mind that they are balancing for 2 game plays now...What will be interesting is what mystery ships will be released for Epic play wave 2...

I do not think Op is whinning over price ; just the content...Opening up a diff ship and finding same cards along with a new one...The way FFG is doing it now is probably on the pretense of the stand alone add on to the core set...I have no complaints that would deem a change , to what they are doing now...Keep the juggernaught rolling and bring on the Dogs of war

Lol...When I first saw X-wing at Team Covenants store , me and my wife had 3 fall apart in our hands...An X-wing , Y-wing , and a Tie fighter...The sales clerk freaked out ; that has never happened before...Needless to say this did nott deter us in any way shape or form...It did show me that these miniatures are detailed and fragile...It never surprises me to hear about something broken or has fallen off...Rest assured that FFG'S outstanding customer service will always go above and beyond to meet customer satisfaction...

I like the way things are now...Each wave you get new ships and cards ; this gives FFG enough time to prepare for the next wave lol...

Applied Perspective has excellent quality and above all great communication...They even do custom engraving...They will not yank your chain , or give you the runaround either...

I have no doubt in my mind that this Forum site is looked at by FFG...After all this is their game and above all their Server lol...The only time that they would intervene is when conversations or topics go beyond the Game and abusing common civility ...All gaming Forums use the positive and negative to either add to their game or make changes... Back to topic ; I can foresee the playing area going to 4' x 8' area...Possibly larger...But then again FFG has already surprised us with this new fleet that they are slowly releasing...Oddly enough someone did leak this out in another site ; asking if anyone would be interested in buying both of these starter ships...

The Ffg official tournaments are specifially designed for their products ; making it fair for others to compete using ships that are currently available...Anyone can use whatever they choose on private games ; with no fear of having their limbs being severed from their bodies...

I would love to have 2 extra seperate ones...One for customization...The other for scratchbuilts...Even though at the present they are not allowed at competitions ; they should be encouraged for adding flair and versatility to this game...From what I have seen on diff forums , this has given the game unending enthusiasm and encouragement to build up fleets ...

There is a model kit on starship modeler ; butt that one is 1/350 scale...Yours will probably have a lot more detail and leave us awestruck once again lol

Once again Ffg has left some with jaws drawn open and others drooling at the mouth...This game has evolved from a simple pull out miniature game , to a expansive and expensive game...The addiction is quite strong and at times overwhelming ; and yet still quite satisfying to us all...I am looking forward to seeing what the Epic gaming system will look like...As far as this new wave , that remains to be seen...This will be the 1st wave that I do not pre-order...
