  1. I think it could work. Maybe not competitively. But a casual game it could be interesting. Having the Focus and Re rolls can help. You might not want to go head on against multiple ships. But try it out. You never know.
  2. I ran this the other day and it worked pretty good in a casual setting. Red Ace Vet: R2-D2, IA, Intimidation Blue Ace: R7-T1, IA Ello: R5-K6, Outmaneuver, Black One, Vectored Thrusters. Black one works off of Barrel roll or a Boost. So double possibilities there. On Ello it helps T-turn and Then Barrel roll to get out of arc and remove a Target Lock off someone else. Take a TL and hope you keep it with the Droid. If you can have Red Ace block some one then Ello has minus two Agility on his Target. Blue Ace has some great action economy with R7-T1. Fun list to fly and some pretty good actions. I am really excited about Vectored Thrusters. Not going to be in every list or on every ship. But should be fun none the less.
  3. I agree with Nera getting Deadeye over VI. So much more useful.
  4. I would say that is its biggest weakness. Crits!!! Not having shields on them are tough.
  5. I don't know. I saw Tomax Bren do lots of damage across the board with multiple players. It's a glass cannon of course. I am not sure what you want out of a ship but seems alright to me. Surprising no one has used the shuttle option yet.
  6. We had this come up tonight. Bren fired a cluster missile. The first shot he used crack shot flipping it face up again. Second shot using it again and permanently losing crack shot. We all came to that agreement. Seems like you should be able to do that on cluster missiles. I could see it being able to get used (albeit if he could) with TLT also.
  7. I did a 2v2 the other day. We each made 75 point list. 150 v 150. It worked out pretty good. It took about the same time as a normal game. It was 2 new guys a guy that had played a bit and me a long time player.
  8. I feel the Heroes of the Resistence pack is the so called Vets pack for Rebels. Now listen to my explanation. Well Poe got a PS upgrade. Han and Chewie are probably (Possibly) going to get new pilot abilities. Which in my opinion makes it the Vets box. Now this might not be what Rebels need. But I feel that it is what we are getting. Now are we going to see a Scum (Vets) box? I am not so sure. I personally would like it of course. I would also love to see scum pilots for the 1300 and 2400 sort of like the Firespray in the Most Wanted box. But not holding my breath.
  9. I feel X-wing is getting a bit too close to the 40k way of playing though. For example using the newest hotness, using only what wins, Spamming crazy (contracted scouts,cough). The new Imp Vets coming out soon. We are going to see Defender after Defender list in the near future. I feel the Balance is shifting a bit and it worries me.
  10. I tried it out on Guri. Worked pretty well. Gave him enough defence he soaked 3 T-70's firepower. Gives Guri some fun movement as well. I have seen it on Cobra to help him out. Worked pretty good.
  11. I actually like using them. I use them in two lists right now. One is a Mindlink list and the other is just an simple Scum list. This is the mind link list. Tansarii: Mangler, Mindlink, Title Tansarii: Mangler, Mindlink, Title IG-88 D: HLC, FCS, Hot Shot Blaster, AutoThrusters, Mindlink, Tracktor Beam This is the other list. Contracted Scout: Chips, Proton Torps, Boba, Deadeye, Extra Munitions, R4 Tansarri: Mangler, Crackshot, Title, Shield Upgrade Zuckess: Title, Tracktor Beam, VI, Gunner, FCS Both have worked very well and both are fun to fly.
  12. Corran still sees play. He is still strong. Maybe not as much as he used to.
  13. I put Traktor on Ten Numb once. It's pretty nice having an almost unavoidable Traktor beam. He's high enough PS too to help others with the negative Agility.

  15. I think the M3 title should have been 0 Points. A Negative points would have been better but I would be happy with 0.
  16. I have been flying Ten with HLC with Calculation and FCS. Being able to push a crit through from a HLC is pretty fun. I was thinking Rage and Kanan on Farlander, but I like engine upgrade on him much more. But I might have to try it once.
  17. Isn't the stress in this game a condition of the pilot? (instead of the ship) I always saw it as a bit of both. Some things might be stress on pilot. Somethings might be stress on ship. But the Ion example isn't to bad. Of course with the Ion token the card probably wouldn't get used. Easier to remove stress then deal with the Ion. Just a thought anyways.
  18. 6-dice R1 attacks?really? with this, who needs the palpmobile? just take 3 one of which is Karnos and one-shot anything. because it's suddenly a HLK+Jan ors attack. for...erm...30 points? and I thought my custom cards were OP as hell... Balance could be tweaked (you can always increase the cost, you know)...I'm just throwing some stuff based on the lore. The TIE Interceptor has the same 2 chin cannons of the TIE Fighter. These cannons are usually disabled because normally there isn't much energy for firing 6 lasers. But, sometimes you can see them working. Actually, the RotJ shows (more than once) the Interceptor shooting the chin lasers: If it stresses out the power of the interceptor then shouldn't you add gain a stress token. So something like this. "When attacking if you do not have a stress, you can gain a stress to add 2 attack dice." Or something along that line. Could drop the points because of the stress. Would help lower PS interceptors being played.
  19. I actually played today using two Tacticans. B-Wing: E2, Tactican B-Wing: E2, Tactican Y-Wing: Sressbot, Ion Turret, BTL T-70: R2 Astro, Integrated Astromech Played it Twice won both. First game was against Omega, Inquisitor and Vessery. Second game was Guri, Palob, Sarassu. Both Got Stressed pretty bad and controlled him the rest of the game until they died. I lost the Y-Wing once. I feel it's still viable. But maybe not as much as it was.
  20. I find the ship just fine fit what you pay. I love Zuckess with Dengar on it. Poor out some damage for sure. I also like advance sensors on him. With the title you can barrel roll first if needed. No real need to target lock with Dengar on board. It will die. But the damage it can put out before it dies is well worth it's points
  21. This is a nice build for Han. Han: Kyle, Kanan, PTL, Engine and Falcon. You can add what ever ship for support. Of course you would need the Ghost to get Kanan and the HWK to get Kyle.
  22. With my list I try to fire all three ships at the same ship. IG shoots and hopefully takes shields away. While the two Scyks push crits through with their Manglers. It has proven to work pretty well. Provided the Scyks don't get one shotted, which happens occasionally.
  23. I have been running something similar. But with an aggressor instead. Scyk: title, Mindlink, Mangler Scyk: title, Mindlink, Mangler IG-88B: HLC, Mindlink, AutoThrusters, Hot Shot Blaster, traktor Beam, FCS I have been think of changing to IG-88D though. I don't think I have used B's ability yet. It has done very good for me.
  24. Go experimental interface on Biggs you can get focus(evade from Jan) and the extra agility.
