Which faction to start the game?

I tried to fly Imperial when I strated. It was very tough to fly at first. Made me quit the game at first. Got back into and went with Rebels. Rebels are a bit more forgiving when flying. Then I got Scum and had some fun with them. Finally got back into Imperial. All 3 Factions are fun to fly and have their own positives and negatives. At this point I like to fly the Imperials the most. I don't tend to stick with one faction though now. Just fly what I want. -
Yeah I think you are right. I ended up totally changing it anyways. I went Kenkirk with Vader. But thanks a bunch guys. I think it might be fun to try casually. Might try it out.

I personally would only do PTL if you are taken Advanced Sensors. You really want to be stress less to be able to S loop if needed. Otherwise take Crackshot and go from there. I feel HLC's are always better. But if you really want to push crits through then for sure go Mangler. It also gives you a few points over the HLC. If you go Mangler you could add Tractor beams to them as well. To have some control in your list. And it's a secondary weapon so you can use it as your B shot. As far as the Illict goes Dampener is nice but so is Glitterstem. Both give you Stress and both are very useful. IMHO

I have seen it used with Han. With Hortan as support. Han also has cluster missiles. Pretty scary with Hans ability. It works amazingly.

I did forget about being able to completely Ionize a Lg base ship in a turn. Things to think about. I think Biggs would work better with Kannan in the Ghost. Reduce damage coming to Biggs with his ability. I played the Ello version the other day and worked really well. He can get out of arc very easy enough and with Outmaneuver can put out some damage as well.

I like the idea of the Ion Turret. I just don't feel it's good enough in a Tournament. I rather do damage with my turret since I can fire it twice if needed. I did play something like this with Ello: Outmanuever, R2-D2, Integrated. It worked pretty good. So I might go with that instead.

Sure but I save points over mangler. Zeb seems far better on chopper. Getting a 5 dice attack and then a 2 dice attack that can't be evaded. Or 4 dice attack that can't be evaded. Ioning them and then them getting stress is pretty amazing. IMHO.

I have a local tournament coming up and I would like to get some opinions. Chopper: Title, Zeb, Hera, Autoblaster, FCS, Ion Projector Ezra: Title Numb: Calculation, Advance Sensors I feel comfortable with flying both ships. I have just never flown them together. Do you think there is enough punch? Does it have good staying power? Obviously Ezra is designed to stay on the Ghost. The list can do 5 damage a turn that can not be evaded. Of course 4 of those are range one. Which shouldn't be to much trouble to get into. As Chopper is designed to do that anyways. Well what do you think?

I am planning on playing this in a tournament. RAC: Adaptability (+1), Rebel Captive, Palp, EU, Thermo Vader: VI, Tie X1, Advance targeting, EU It has done well for me. I am worried about Triple Toilet Seats. But I am hoping I won't see it here. -
Yeah I forgot chips was a mod. Haven't used it yet. Not a big fan of ordinance.

Deadeye with E2 mod and recon spec on Nera. It's amazing. Gives you a focus to fire and a focus to modify.

The agility droid is nice on Biggs. Can't remember the name. Action add an agility. Try to keep him at range 3 as well. With the droid and range you can roll 4 dice. Auto thrusters can help as well. But that's adding points. Just remember he will die. Make use of the turns that he is being targeted. If you can do that it will be worth it. -
I prefer k4 as his crew. With the push you can get focus, evade and Lock every turn. As far as what you fly with him. Couple Z's and a elite pilot isn't bad. Couple Y's have worked before. Palob isn't a bad choice either. You can run Dengar with him. Lots of options.

Ok. Well Munitions Failsafe is probably not going to get much use. With having a target lock to adjust and possibly a focus as well. You should hit. -

I am curious why P9 over R2-D2? I would think R2 would be easier to use on Corran. I am not so sure about R2-D6 on Horton either. You are going to want to do Marksmanship so gaining Stress is going to be bad. Seems a bit counter productive. I do like Marksmanship on the Y-wing though. Very cool. Blount is great to get rid of Stealth devices. -

I second not putting gunner on Whisper. I like Rebel captive on Whisper. Makes it hurt if they shoot at her. VI is very important on her as well. It sucks as there are other EPT's that I would like to put on her but for her to survive VI it is. I have never flown a Punisher. But from what I have seen he us loaded to heavily. He dies die pretty quickly. I would pick either Bombs/Mines or Torps/Rockets and leave the other home. If you run the Bombs, Accuracy Corrector is pretty nice on them as they are only 2 dice shot anyways. If you are doing the Torps then FCS is the way to go. Just some food for thought. -

Yeah I did see the contradiction with Ezra and Sebine. I played two games today. One the first one pretty easily against a Dengar, N'Dru and another named z pilot. lost the second game against same list. Jousting with the Ghost doesn't work to well. lol. Kanan was to help the A-wing and Possible the shuttle when it comes out. All in all its a pretty good start.

So I got my Ghost today and decided to build a list using it of course. Hopefully doing some damage and then being able to shoot at them as well. Then getting another shot at R1. The shuttle will stay on the ghost for some of the game. Then pop off to help do some support action. PTL will work pretty good with Ezra. I know the Autoblasters are not the best turret on the shuttle. I think it might be useful deploying though. We shall see. The A is in there for some harassment and to get another ship in there. With Kanan I can relieve stress on a 3 bank or turn for the A which opens up some nice options. Not sure if it will work. But I like how the Ghost is.

I have been running Miranda with C3PO, TLT, Cluster Bombs, Siesmc and Extra Ammo. With a couple of Blue squadron T-70's with R2 Astromechs and Integrated. It has done pretty well. Miranda is so hard to kill unless ganged up on. The T-70's are just fun to fly with R2's. Gives them a lot of options after they T-turn. I think I will change the Siesmic's to Thermals when I get it. And I am kit sure if I am 100% happy with the Clusters yet. I dropped one on Han and did 3 damage so I guess that's not so bad. Killed a Tie outright hitting Two of the Bomb tokens. Might try to fit Conner Nets though. I am excited to see how Wren would work with a list like this. I just might try to fit her somewhere else. Her ability is Table wide after all. And it already has bombs on the ship. So no need to put her on the K wing. Unless you want that extra bomb. But 4 Mine/bombs is more than enough in a game I think anyways. It's just where to put her. -
Yeah a buddy plays a Wes, Wedge and Hobbie list with opportunist on Wedge and Hobbie.
