Slight update. Weather was good enough to prime the AT-AT today. Nevermind the alien in the background.
I'm still waiting on the cheek-guns, but its coming along nicely. I might do one more post here when they come in showing the final version for scale with some other legion minis.
After that, I will probably only post in the painting section.

Thanks. I asked because I was not entirely sure that the AT-AT was the same base color as the AT-ST.

Hi folks.
Looking to paint an AT-AT, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a base color from either the Citadel/GW paint line or Vallejo.
Thank you.

Hi MicroManager - To answer your questions:
The model was already scaled at I believe 1/46 or 1/47 (I just downloaded the one upthread). I did not change the scale and just had printed at 100%.
The material was "Standard PLA (FDM)" with 20% infill, and 200μm.
Measuring the width of the top of the head at the neck joint, it is right at 4" wide.
Hope that helps.

I have no idea how to pull it off in Legion.
I am using Legion miniatures to play the old D6 Star Wars Miniatures Game from West End, and that has AT-AT stats.

I used 3DHubs. It was the cheapest I could find - but the price was still ridiculous (Just for the head and neck). Without access to your own printer, it would probably be cost prohibitive to try and print the whole AT-AT.
For the Cheek Guns, I sent them off to Shapeways (because the file was two separate pieces instead of a single connected object, and 3D Hubs wouldn't accept it that way).
The head/neck are supposed to arrive today. If they do, I will try and post up a pic for scale/comparison on the Hasbro toy body.

I downloaded the file that Steck638 was kind enough to post a link to upthread.
I sent it off to be 3D printed (along with the neck), and have disassembled the Hasbro toy in preparation.
We will see how closely the 1/46 scale head/neck fits on the Hasbro toy body. -
I wish I could find someone who could 3D print and sell just the head.
I would replace the one on that Hasbro AT-AT, and be good to go. -
*UPDATE* Final "build" pic on page 2.
Hi folks,
I took a pic of an old Hasbro AT-AT next to the Star Wars Miniatures game AT-AT (with a Legion AT-ST and Legion Stormtrooper) for scale.

I also found some screenshots from Empire Strikes Back showing the scale in the movies next to Luke.
The Hasbro AT-AT obviously has a huge head compared to the body. Other that that, any thoughts?

Old Hat over at Dust-war.com has actually created a fan campaign that includes several historical vehicles called Headway. You can get it free here:
Brilliant. Thank you!

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has created datacards for some of the more standard tank and armored personel carriers used in WWII?
Since models are available in the proper scale for several tanks/vehicles, the existing datacards list several of the weapons found
on these vehicles, and it seems easy to assign various values based on existing designs, the only thing I would really be missing
would be the point values.Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Thanks.
The transport is one I bought off Etsy already printed. I will try and put up a paint post with it as well once I start
working on it.
