Ok I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but X-Wing game avatars do not exist in the menu when choosing a new one.....so what the hell??????
Hence why I'm using the Darth Maul look alike because I don't have an option for any X-Wing game ships or rebel or Imperial faction crests...... What are you doing to these forums FFG?

I love the CR-90 because it is one of the cheapest capitals Rebels can field. You don't even have to upgrade them for them to be a solid ship. The A variant I will echo Jaina's light for an option you have a speedy scout sniper with that title on an A. Above all I love the CR-90's simply for the speed.... I get great amusement watching CR-90's fly by Imperials and get into rear arcs to become a huge pain. It's a fun ship

You should definitely consult a doctor if you number 2s look like a Liberty-class MC80

Why on earth do you say that?  I feel almost certain we'll get a Liberty class, and hopefully (though perhaps it's a little less likely) a few more, such as...

Play area is defined as: ... the shared space occupied by ships, squadrons, obstacle tokens and objective tokens. It's 3x3 for Core set, or 3x6 for 300-400 pt games.
Share is defined as: A part or portion belonging to, distributed to, contributed by, or owed by a person or group.
Occupy is defined as: To fill up (time or space), To dwell or reside in.
"If any portion of a ship’s or squadron’s base is outside the play area, that ship or squadron is destroyed. For this purpose, ignore activation sliders, shield dials, and the plastic portions of a ship’s base that frame shield dials."

You must deploy ships to the play area, specifically the deployment area, a subset of the setup area, which is a part of the play area.

Lyraeus' question posits that nothing prevents you from deploying your ships on top of each other, as "overlapping" is only directly addressed as happening after movement. The main problem with this interpretation is that because of how play area is defined, that would mean that everything on the play area becomes  the play area as well, and you'd never be able to "go off" the play area. Ships could hang off the edge, and that'd be okay, because now they're part of the play area by extension. That's a direct violation of the entire purpose of the second paragraph under Play Area on pg. 9 of the Rules Reference. Sharing and occupy only means that the ships, squadrons, obstacles and objective tokens get to use that space on the play area. They do not become part of the play area itself.

The play area is the surface the game is played upon. Ships share that space, but do not become part of the play area. You must deploy onto the play area. Therefore you never gain the opportunity to deploy your ship/squadron on top of another ship or squadron because that is not a valid deployment location.

in a well balanced game, this is the ideal scenario:

VSD - smaller and more point efficient ship

ISD - giant (gl with obstacles/ASTEROIDS DO NOT CONCERN ME, ADMIRAL!), incredibly inefficient (point cost pending, but the ISD's battery armaments aren't that much more impressive than a VSD), begging to be upgraded (just look at all the cards included with it)

need a bruiser? a cheap carrier? just a big blunt hammer or area denial? VSD.

need a flagship? A big, expensive monstrosity to hold the center of your fleet? ISD.

My last game I finally played the CR90 and had a pair of them start off at speed 4 and boy it was fun flying by VSD's and Gladiators with a finger in the air getting into their rear arc. It gave me a sense of oh so this is what rebel speed is like, and this is why we use it. After that game my cr90's remained because of speed. And I won't field Neb B's any more because in my opinion CR90's are more reliable. Must get more of them

hahahahahah no I don't just let Gladiators ......an average game with Darth Lupine goes as such I position my ships he positions his. No matter how I play them he usually does after my nebs I play the Neb gun line ..and eventually they get flanked by his Gladiators. Meanwhile my other ships do their best to stay out of firing arca of his other ships. ...It's easier to watch than to explain and I soooo wish you could have a chance to play against him just once....you see Darth Lupine doesn't play for objective points he plays to kill off every last one of your ships. His only goal ..to table you. He will use his Gladiators in a gun line box your ship in destroy and move on, all the Gladiators are equipped with ACM's one of them is Demolisher. And of course Screed is backing them up. There so far has only been one person to beat him and he was using three Assault Frigates and even at that it was a narrow win. Now both of them are hard core wargamers , very competitive and have been playing games such as this and more for some time now. The only honest way I can see anyone winning a game against Darth Lupine is playing a mirror match against him using the same tactics against him. Other than that...good luck
