  1. Hey guys, thank you for this information, but I have another question. How would a Psyker fit into the retinue?
  2. What would be a good group of Acolytes who serve an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor of the Thorian philosophy?
  3. Hello. I really like the Recogregator and Xenos Hybris factions of the Inquisition. So I was wondering, does anyone have any good pointers for playing a campaign centered around a group of Acolytes who knowingly serve a Recogregator and Xenos Hybris Inquisitor using both the pre-written and custom-made campaigns of Dark Heresy? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
  4. Is it possible to send an email to Fantasy Flight Games to politely ask them to work in the character creator for an Eldar PC in the next supplement for Rogue Trader after Faith and Coin? I love the Eldar and think their culture is fascinating.
  5. Question: Does anyone have any good ideas about a ship that and Inquisitor and his/her Acolytes use to travel around the Calixis Sector? I'm talking about a small, light-cruiser or frigate-sized ship capable of warp travel, Astropathic communication, and carrying a gun-cutter to land on planets. If anyone has good suggestions, please feel free to post their responses. Thanks.
  6. I know that. But in theory, they could be reversed-engineered into a stabilized warp gate that functions like a Webway gate.
  7. I'm also a fan of the Iconoclast Destroyer. It gives you a bonus on repair attempts, and is a good compliment to a larger ship.
  8. In terms of Ork "tech" (and I'm being polite when I say "tech"), there is only one thing that peaks my interest enough to risk reverse-engineering, the Shokk Attack Gun. In theory, they could be modified in to "warp gates" in order to make space travel easier.
  9. I do know that the nine Primarchs who remained loyal to the Emperor are venerated as saints. To the best of my knowledge, Roboute Guilliman is widely known and respected for restoring some amount of stability to the Imperium in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy.

  11. Hello. I've been looking through the forums, and I haven't found anything relating to what I'm asking. I like the Ordo Xenos the most and lean towards the teachings of the Recogreators and the Xenos Hybris. I resent the illogical oppression of mutants and the unnecessary xenophobia towards aliens that aren't inherently hostile to humanity, such as the Eldar, Jokaero, and the Kroot. I also believe that humanity would be stronger if we used superior alien weapons. Which Ordo do you like the most, and which philosophy in the Inquisition do you prefer?

My idea for a side mission for people who want to have a good relationship with the Eldar is that you gather up the Soulstones of the dead and return them to Kaelor as a sign of peace. What do you guys think? Always a good idea, if your characters can figure out the true value, if maybe not the true reason for it, that the Eldar place on these stones, and they want to make nice with the Eldar. Just try to make sure that they also get something nice from the Eldar, in return. Thanks for suggesting the rewards part. To be honest, Venkelos, I've never actually GM'ed or even played a game of Rogue Trader. I just created a lot of ideas that I could share and modify with any friends that I might play a campaign with. One of my ideas is that the Rogue Trader PC's Dynasty has had extensive dealings with most of the Eldar Craftworlds that dwell within in the Segmentum Obscurus, so they know that these Soulstones are important to the Eldar, they just don't fully understand why. Do you think that sounds realistic?

  14. I would allow my players to craft their own story. I would just present them with a Warrant and Ship I created, then I would let them make the adjustments they want.
  15. An idea that I've wanted to implement into a Rogue Trader game if I ever GM one is that the Rogue Trader character has an eight-year old son/daughter who is beginning to learn about leadership from his/her mother/father and a retainer who has become something of a third parent to them. I think that would provide an interesting element to life on the ship. What do you guys think?
