  1. This is a bad move, OP. The new deck is so much superior to the broken old deck.
  2. Or maybe you can read the whole thread? That was put to bed on the 1st page. You're right, I would then have gained such insightful thoughts as "those cards still suck anyways." Sigh.
  3. R5 Astromech has never had the "Action:" header. So perhaps rather than launching into knee-jerk internet groupthink, people should actually engage the substance of the article. I also find it funny that the title of this thread which critiques the image typo (which is basically a tradition in FFG articles) warns us that Howlrunner can take Advanced cloaking "decide."
  4. Updated after recent trade! I HAVE: Han Solo Soontir Fel Academy Pilot Dagger Squadron Scimitar Squadron Bandit Squadron (All alt art) 1 cloak token Store Champ Dice bag Lots of upgrade cards (just ask) I WANT: Tycho alt art Push the Limit alt art Guri alt art Wedge alt art Vader, Boba, or Lando alt art Imperial assault: Stormtrooper, Trandoshan, or any other generic activation card. Thanks! I have many successful trades here and on the North American X-wing Facebook trade group and the Star Wars X-wing Miniatures Swap and Sell Facebook group.
  5. Reporting a great trade with krohnt!
  6. That's what I assume and hope, too. Thanks for the feedback.
  7. Apologies if this is a redundant thread. Have I missed anything about whether the new expansion might come out with a Gray as well as the Red deployment card depicted in the display image? The images seem to not always show everything that is in the pack...for example the tokens and stickers in the Wave 1 Rebel expansions.
  8. I read that to just mean that you can't flood your open groups with lots of cheap Grey card Stormtroopers, even if you physically have the cards. It's a bit ambiguous, and you could read it to exclude the use of, for example, the Hired Guns, but I don't think that's the intent of that rule. They are trying (for balance purposes) to prevent Imperial players spamming too many figures with low threat cost per figure.
  9. It's a well known aspect of the die punching process that it cannot be 100% accurate. Laser-cut acrylics are far far more accurate. You can trust the well known template suppliers, such as Applied Perspective, Team Covenant, Greenman, or Cog'o'two to be accurate to the ideal measurement. It would be surprising if one of your cardboard ones was actually correct. As a side example, compare two cardboard rulers to each other, or even the range division lines on the green and red sides of a single ruler, and you will likely not find two the exact same.
  10. 11. I like the colors. What would it look like if the blue outlined stuff was green, like the Imperial lasers?
  12. I've played this scenario a few times, and I can tell you that the additional abilities given to the Wing Commander really help prevent it from becoming a one on one followed by the third player mopping up. The asteroid placement is also a bit different, which helps determine lanes of attack, and also the fact that once your wing commander is lost, all your ships are destroyed, makes it a fast paced battle, when it could otherwise take much longer than a standard game. I highly recommend you try it out before assuming it is just like other three-way battles you may have tried before. Most of all, it's really fun.
  13. All of this jousting business doesn't account for the fact that the TIE Advanced has a terrible dial. It is a really significant drawback to have neither a 1 straight nor a 1 turn. But you can clearly take away from this that this is a makor fix for this ship, and should return it to viability without a doubt.
  14. It isn't a zero-cost upgrade because it has the rather significant cost of preventing you from shooting out of arc with your turret weapons, weapons that have point costs and power levels balanced around the ability to shoot out of arc. So the A4 title itself costs zero points, but the real cost is the overpayment for the turret weapon. And gunner isn't a very accurate comparison because gunner gives you another shot with your best attack, while the A4 title gives you a mediocre primary weapon attack that probably doesn't get any dice modification. Gunner costs more than the A4 title because its effect is a lot more powerful. Also Gunner triggers on a fail, which gives you one effective attack, though likely a more powerful one, while the Y-wing may have 2 successful weaker attacks.
