    Best storage

I use that case and just went to the local craft store and got a sheet of foam to cut up and secure the ships in each compartment. holds everything nice and secure.

  8. Just wanted to give heads up that the Oakland based X-wing group will be hosting a tournament on 5/4/13. Details can be found here: http://www.endgameoakland.com/star-wars-day-x-wing-miniatures-tournament/ It's not part of the official regional tournaments but might be good for practice.

LedZep said: Again. Who said the ships move? Also, overpriced ships? This is a miniature game…people pay 300 for a collosal red dragon, they even payed 100 bucks to obtain the falcon 2 months before. A limited edition ship that costs 50-80 bucks with missions and new gameplay modes will be appealing to a lot of people. Clubs, stores will buy them to run game nights. Some of you payed 40 bucks for the core set (not enough to have lots of fun) and have bought at least 2 expansions for each…are you telling me you wont pay more for a huge ship (with the paint and details the minis have)??? I call bs. You know you will. In my opinion again the huge ships would be objectives. They dont need to move at all. The area with the asteroids can be the area for a big ship in a new assault or deffend mode. Is it that hard to imagine? i'd most likely buy a larger ship which could be used more as terrain/scenario with various turrets or targets on it. i don't think i'd try and get anything bigger than the falcon/firespray as part of a squad build but i think it would make things a bit more enjoyable than just standard dogfighting.
  10. they're basically going to switch to just licensing the IP to other studios to make games for them. which sounds kind of familiar…
  11. The group I run is house-ruled to stop matches at 75 minutes (not including the initial set up time). it lets us get 2 matches in per night at the LGS without them needing to stay open super late.
  12. i haven't had a chance to play with my large ships yet but i have definitely tried parking a ship in an opponents flight path when i thought it could help me. in addition to one less chance at being shot at you're also robbing your opponent of taking actions if they run into you.
