If a creature is vulnerable to something, like silver, maybe you could apply Breach 1 to any attack made against it with a silver weapon.

Sure, you could enlist and get issued a giant robot by your space military. Or you could be a traditionalist and just steal fall into the cockpit of the nearest mecha to start your adventure. Why trust some other engineer’s design, though? You’ll be making your own story, why not your own mecha to tell it with? Well if that’s what you want to do then you’re in luck, because that’s what we’re doing for one last G.E.N.E.S.Y.S. Mecha System Hack.
    Custom Mecha
With the Expanded Player's Guide in the way and the Foundry being a thing now, any further work on this Hack will hopefully end up looking much more official. In the meanwhile, though, I had promised one more thing, so while we wait for the EPG grab a character with a good Mechanics skill and get to building!
    Thanks, as always, for reading.

    EPISODE 2 - It’s Narrative Dice Baby!
With so much Genesys RPG goodness happening right now after the exciting Gen Con release of Foundry, we’ve decided to bring you a brand new episode. And on such an occasion, we had to invite even more special guests to the show.
This episode we welcome Tim Hucklebery, RPG Developer for Fantasy Flight Games where we talk about the Foundry Content Agreement, what makes great content for the Foundry, and some great wisdom dropping from a RPG Veteran. But that's not all! We also welcome two of the team behind Studio 404 Games, the producers of the Starcana setting - Kimber Bowen and Phil Maiewski. Plus there's our usual shinnanigans such as answering your games and rules questions in Under the Hammer, and covering off on a popular talent in Die Casting.
So join your hosts GM Hooly and GM Chris, and grab those Narrative Dice baby! Its time for The Forge!

EPISODE 1 - Welcome to the Forge
The Genesys Role Playing by Fantasy Flight Games is a template for creating any setting you can imagine. The Genesys Foundry is an expansion of that. It allows creators of original content to produce Genesys compatible products which they can sell in a community marketplace. We here at The Forge: A Genesys RPG Podcast are your key to the Foundry. We'll help you to navigate what's on offer by showing you the great and the "must haves".
In this episode we introduce you to the Genesys RPG with an overview of what the game is all about with the help of the RPG Manager for Fantasy Flight Games, Sam Gregor-Stewart. Mix this with some game mechanic analysis, an interview with professional freelancer Keith Kappel and answering some of our community's questions, and you are in for one amazing show.
So join your hosts GM Hooly (The Dice Pool Podcast) and GM Chris (Order 66 Podcast) for the inaugural episode of The Forge: A Genesys RPG Podcast.

DarthGM got a reaction from GnosisNoise in Opinions on Realms of Terrinoth
I think it's a great vehicle for introducing the total novice (like me) to the world of Terrinoth. I need artwork to sort of immerse myself into the feeling of a setting. I love sweeping, visually complex or narrative art pieces to help me see what the world is like. I hate something being described as "a tall humanoid made of iron, covered in runic wards and glyphs, wielding a halberd in one hand and a shield in the other"; actually SHOW me a picture of an Ironbound.
The book provides supplemental rules for fantasy tropes and themes, but the book is a showcase for someone to run a Terrinoth game. I feel FFG did a great job with this book and look forward to similar treatises for Android, Twilight Imperium, and especially Tannhauser.

If you're going to GenCon, then you probably just got the email about Block Party, the dedicated food truck and beer garden next to the convention center. This is likely the best place to do a Genesys Community meetup. So, I'm going to be in the beer garden on Friday at around 8pm, wearing a t-shirt very similar to the one here. I've nothing planned, but come have a beer and taco or whatever with me.

So, I underestimated Luke when I thought he'd fall between Ezra and Kanan. He's kind of a monster.
For fun, I tested Luke against several other named NPCs (something I've done with every other named NPC to date, and will do with the rest of the named cast from A&A when I have time). In order so far, I've tested him against Ezra, The Fifth Brother, Kanan, Ahsoka, The Seventh Sister, and The Grand Inquisitor. So far, he hasn't come close to losing a match (I'm going to do a rematch against the Grand Inquisitor later, though. Crit rolls in that one were wonky).
What makes Luke so good compared to these other characters is pretty straight forward. His father's lightsaber is a fully modded Ilum lightsaber. So, 10 damage, crit 1, and Vicious 2. All the other NPCs I just mentioned only have base-level sabers. 6 damage, crit 2, and no Vicious. Couple that with Luke's One In A Million Force power, and his Touch of Fate, and he's terrifyingly consistent.
That said, he isn't nearly as survivable as the Grand Inquisitor. With lower Soak, Wound, Strain, Parry, and Reflect. Even pitting him against two characters at once would probably be more than enough to overwhelm him. But in single combat, this Luke build is surprisingly scary.
When I get off work, I'll test him against a Magnaguard, a Fallen Master, Maul, Obi-Wan, Vader, Yoda, and Sidious. I expect he'll have no trouble with the first two, but I doubt he'll beat any of the more powerful named characters. They're all just so much stronger than him, and their weapons are all just as strong as his, so he loses his biggest advantage that he's had against the lesser characters so far.

As a comment, the Canyon Krayt Dragon (of which these are the stats for) lives...go with me now...in canyons.  Narrow spaces with all kinds of cover, as well as rocky outcroppings they can get cover and concealment from.
The Krayt will likely hear large vehicles coming, and probably won't want anything to do with them, so it takes cover.
Anyone on a vehicle that gets close enough to fight the krayt is probably within Medium range, the Krayt can then roar at them causing a fear check. If the character generates two Threat (or a Despair, honestly), the character is now immobilized. That nice vehicle that was moving at speed? Well, it now moves at-speed along it's last path of travel because the pilot can't spend a maneuver to steer, probably straight into a canyon wall.
    Krayts are cunning creatures.

See previous comment about "medium range" and Fear checks.

Even BX-commando droids aren't immune to fear.   And probably don't have the best Discipline checks.

And I mean, come on; you can always come up with a winning hand that beats anything. But where's the fun in that?
What GM is going to enable such a thing to go off without a hitch?
