No Charge though. If any of her command cards gives her Charge though, she's a beast.

I didn't yet have a chance, though it looks fun. Yesterday I finally got the chcance to play the first two missions of Deep Jungle, and this one is fun too. Both are in fact variation of "Escalation" idea, and both seem to do better job at it than the usual ones (Gathering Forces/Shadow/Massing Superiority).

It does. Maybe not to you and not to me, but to those more on the hobby side of the game, it matters a lot.

From new cannon, Twilight Company is the best pick for "Legion-themed" reading, but there is some in Inferno Squadron as well. I didn't like the Aftermath trilogy much, but the second part (if i remember correctly) had a subplot on Wookie uprising on Khashyyyk, which was fun.

But should you fancy Imperials, I really recommend "Allegiance" by T. Zahn (c'mon, you can't go wrong with mr. Zahn!). Sure, it has both Luke and Mara Jade, but it also got some cool tactical tips on taking out an ATST and some cool speeder bikes strategies as well

I'm seeing visions of a Han+Chewie+AT-RT list that uses all of Han's cards, Chewie's 3-pip, and these 1 and 2-pip cards. Inspirational flamer AT-RT's with Han & Chewie's shenanigans. Throw some R5's into some Trooper squads to keep those AT-RTs running longer...yeah.

Who wants to bet we see something like that at the Las Vegas Open next month?

After you issue orders, you may choose to give control of Hondo Ohnaka to your oppponent for the rest of the game. If you do, earn 1 Victory Point.

Buy two core sets. Unlike most games you will need, not want, a second set of dice ($15) and a are required to get a 3rd corps unit ($25) so at that point a $90 core set is only $50. Minus the OTHER two units you'll get for your chosen army (corps, vehicle, $25 each) the second core set is... FREE. I'm using MSRP but the numbers hold up for discount sites too. If you are hard up for cash you can't afford NOT to get two core sets.
Then just buy an extra $12 hero or two for each side: Chewie, Boba Fett, Emporer, Leia, Han... doesn't matter at this point, whoever you think looks cool. Personally I'd buy 1 extra commander and 1 extra operative for each side. AKA, Chewie and Boba with Veers or Palpatine and Leia or Han.
If you buy two core sets and any two heroes you now have two legal 800 point armies to play with and find your preferences. Later on this will become your loaner army for future newbies and/or something to bust out for casual games where you feel like a change.
When you decide which faction to follow, the new upgrade cards (grenades, gear, etc.) from it will transfer over to your "secondary" army keeping it fresh and interesting. Because of this, Legion's not a game the requires you to buy 1 of everything for each faction to "keep up".
Someday when a really killer figure that you just "have to have" comes out for the other side, you'll have an army to plug it into. Also the worst thing that could happen if you are tight for cash is to accidentally invest in the "wrong" army for you. By having just over 800 points of the other force laying around, you can always switch gears.
Two core sets and a hero or two for each faction. You don't have to buy it all at once, but this is the way to do it if you're  trying to stretch your dollars-to-fun ratio. You COULD buy a core set and swap the contents with someone and start "following" that faction but if you are already feeling some indecision, just keep an eye out for sales, get a second core set, two to four heroes, and play awhile.
Don't be intimidated. As time goes on and "keeping up" with the new units gets daunting, be patient! On cyber-Monday I got a $17 AT-ST, a $9 snowspeeder, and several $50 core sets!

The question that logically follows from this is: “what does it mean for a mini to be considered wounded?”
The bullet point directly above that one answers it:
“A mini with at least one wound token assigned to it is wounded”
So since a 1-wound mini is immediately removed when it suffers a wound, that unit never has any minis-with-a-wound-token.
The other evidence we commonly point to is the wording of Tenacity. Take a look and you should see how the devs make a distinction between wounded minis and lost minis.
If it helps you to think of it that way, great! Just note that it’s technically not correct. Units don’t have wounds, minis do (first bullet point under the Wounds heading). Now, units do suffer wounds as a result of attacks, but those wounds ultimately get assigned to specific minis.

I'd say HQ uplinks would be much better on Strike teams - still pretty much single use, as recover is a precious action, but they at least can benefit from Leia's No Time For Sorrow or Luke's My Ally Is The Force.

My personal preference would be to drop grappling hooks entirely, but in my area we usually don't have that much useful elevated terrain. I'd consider Esteemed Leader for Leia or keepeing the gear.

Shanturin got a reaction from TheGreenKnight in If they put out clone wars before Ewoks I flipping quit.
As far as cannon info goes, they did not. A tweet from official Star Wars account stated that the rebels deployed shields and tractor beams in he aftermath of battle to prevent the planet's bombardment by debris. Some of the debris finally formed into an orbital ring around the moon (as stated in Aftermath books).

In Legends there were some discrepancies. A term "Endor Holocaust" was by fandom and was later used as in-universe imperial propaganda, stating that Endor was rendered uninhabitable in lieu of rebel actions. There was a theory also that the explosion created a wormhole that sucked up most of the debris , some mention of shields being deployed and I believe some comic books depictions of B-wings being used fighting fire on the surface.

So yeah, even after the battle Ewoks were few and rarely seen in the galaxy. With a notable exception of Wraith Squadron's own. Lt. Kettch

Shanturin reacted to Copes in Why would I want to buy snow troopers?
The Flametrooper upgrade IS why you utilize Snowtroopers. They need some upgrading - a naked unit of Snowies is rarely, if ever, more valuable than a naked unit of Stormies. However, the Flametrooper is one of my favourite upgrades in the game on either side of the battle.

Snowtroopers are very often run bulky.

    Snowtrooper [48]
      + Flametrooper [20]
      + Snowtrooper [12]
      + Impact Grenade [5]
    TOTAL: 85 Points

That setup is an INCREDIBLE threat - if your enemy does not deal with you as you advance you roll a disgusting amount of black dice when you hit Range 1. Plus, you can do boatloads of damage to anything with the Impact grenades, meaning AT-RTs and AT-STs are just as afraid of you as units.

I like running 2 bulky Impact-Flamer squads in my force, whether I'm running Veers + ATST or Vader and Bikes. In both cases, the Snowtroopers present a threat that standard DLTs just don't. They have a very different use - advancing and threatening versus hanging back and picking - but they are very, very, practical.

Also note that a lot of people on TTS are seeing Emergency Stims as huge for Snowtroopers, allowing you one final breath to get that Flametrooper in close and annihilate a squad. Attaching Emergency Stims to the bulky group I posted above takes total cost to 93 and means you have upgraded every slot.
