Hoping not. There's still so many new ships for Rebels and Imperials they could still release. Even if it's 2 Republic and 2 CIS ships per wave, they could also include either 1 Rebel or Imperial ship. Here's hoping they'll also include Wedge Antilles as a Rebel pilot for the Delta-7 and Chanath Cha as an Imperial pilot for the Sith Infiltrator.
  2. Without needing to add Clone Wars to Armada, both the Acclamator and Venator-class were still used by the Empire during its early stages and both the Providence and the Recusant-class were used by the Rebels so I can't see why they can't be included already.
  3. If the Galactic Republic were ever to be introduced as a faction (maybe as part of a Clone Wars expansion), should they combine ships from all eras under one banner or separate post-Ruusan Reformation ships (Clone Wars era) and pre-Ruusaan Reformation ships (Jedi Civil War, Great Galactic War, New Sith Wars etc.) as two different factions? Though the term 'Old Republic' by Lucasfilm and fans refers to any time before Episode I, within lore it could mean anywhere between the birth of the Republic till the end of the Clone Wars when in reference to the New Republic.
  4. Similar to the Scurrg H-6 Bomber, could have both Rebel and Republic (Royal Naboo) pilots included.
  5. With Lando's Millennium Falcon having the escape craft attachment, how about other YT-1300 / Millennium Falcon expansions like the Freight-loading external rover (F-LER) and YT-XC? https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Freight-loading_external_rover https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-XC Both could act as extra defense for the Rebel Millennium Falcon like the Escape Craft does for Scum with Lando's Millennium Falcon.
  6. Hopefully they'll also have some ships from between Episodes I and II, and prior. https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sabaoth_starfighter https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Freefall-class_bomber https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/G-400 https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/NB-1S_Royal_Bomber https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Trade_Federation_droid_bomber https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Scarab-class_droid_starfighter https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tempest_Zero https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Borvo_the_Hutt's_freighter https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zoomer
  7. Hoping it'll be added to the game, both as a Rebel fighter and if a Clone Wars expansion is introduced as a Republic fighter.

    H-Wing ideas

Both the H-Wing and M-class / M-Wing I'd be down for being included, the M-class especially since I'd like to see it further expanded on than what we already know.
  9. The LAAT could still be introduced now for Rebels. The Rebels use it in Battlefront 2 and in Star Wars: Commander.
  10. Yes, there are in fact a couple old Republic ships still operational by the time of the Galactic Civil War. https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/XS_stock_light_freighter https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Defender-class_light_corvette https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Fortune_(starship)
  11. If the Republic were to be included, could we also expect Old Republic era ships like the Aurek-class tactical strikefighter and BT-7 Thunderclap for it? I would also like Sith Empire and Old Republic (if Old Republic ships can't be included with the Clone Wars era Republic) as factions.
  12. Agreed. Whilst I'm all happy for the inclusion of Anakin Skywalker as a pilot, we would need the Republic as a faction first. It just wouldn't work having him as a Rebel pilot to stay true to lore, just like how you wouldn't have Palpatine as a Rebel or Scum pilot. Ahsoka is the accepted example because of her involvement with Phoenix Squad and the Rebels as seen in Rebels TV. The only other Jedi you could have as a Rebel pilot or crew is Rachi Sitra: https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rachi_Sitra as well as a couple of others listed here: https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Rebel_Jedi https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Rebel_Force-sensitives
  13. I'd be happy for as many viable ships and factions as possible. I'm all for a Sith Empire faction, I'm just curious if they'd be all under one faction or as multiple different ones ie. Vitiate's Sith Empire, Naga Sadow's Sith, New Sith etc. We have the Sith fighter and GSS-3 Mangler both from different eras of Sith history. I would imagine all Sith vessels could be under one faction which is the Sith Empire we see in SWTOR. We have Asajj Ventress as a pilot and she died during the Clone Wars so how is that possible? The ships and pilots are just "ingredients" to create a game. It doesn't have to make any sense in regards to continuity as long as the ships and characters stay true to how they're represented in the franchise. In Star Wars: Force Arena, you can have a team of Rebels and Republic Clones together and in Galactic Battlegrounds you can have Trade Federation allying with Wookiees. X-Wing is no different than those except for being a physical game. If they release Clone Wars as an expansion for X-Wing with LAAT and Droid Starfighters as ships, you're not forced to buy them.
  14. We have both pre-GCW and post-GCW ships in the game so I don't think there ever was an embargo on non-GCW era ships.
  15. They could retain the original packaging design whilst simply having a "2.0" logo displayed somewhere, similar to what they've done with the Saw's Renegades Expansion Pack. Just have a black box with 2.0 marked on it.
