    Here are two 200 point squadrons I have come up with and would like some advice on how to make them better.  They are pretty much mirror images of one another in concept.  I think both would be immensely entertaining to play.

     

    Empire:
    Soontir Fel + Push the Limit (30)

    "Echo” + Veteran Instincts + Advanced Cloaking Device (35)

    Carnor Jax (26)

    Rebel:

    Wedge Antilles + Outmaneuver (32)
    Ten Numb + Heavy Laser Cannon + Engine Upgrade (42)
    Dash Rendar + Heavy Laser Cannon + "Leebo" + Outrider (50)
    Kyle Katarn + Blaster Turret + Lando Calrissian + Moldy Crow (31)
    Lieutenant Blount + Assault Missiles (22)
    Red Squadron Pilot (23)

    I prefer "Echo" as the unpredictability of decloaking gives you several options to counter your opponents moves or reinforce your own attack..

    Echo - 30 Points

      Veteran Instincts - 1 Point
      Advanced Cloaking Device - 4 Points
     

    For 35 points this makes a good and unpredictable flanker.  Whisper is good it's just personal preference that I would rather take Echo.

    I ordered the Asp, it looks like it might be easier to use with the folks I usually game with.  Might have to work out stats for it if there are none.  If it is a hit I may look at the Sentinel.  That and my brother is an awesome painter of 40K models so will make the thing look great.  Will post pics when it arrives and is fully painted along with the stats we work out.

    Really disappointed about there not being any huge Imperial Ships yet.  If they did want to scrap the idea, at least balance it first.  At the very least you would think it would be in FFG's interest to make an announcement before they turn off many fans ala GW...transparency breeds trust and loyalty on the part of the consumer.  I digress.

     

    While I'd prefer a uniquely Imperial ship, it is a option to repaint (Just for fun) the CR90 and use Imperial upgrades and the generic from the set.
