I cannot imagine any chance of there being an AT-AT in this game. I have the official FFG Hoth map and the each AT-AT footprint is slightly bigger than the size of an AT-RT base. A single base for that type of model would be so massive that a table could not realistically have terrain. Something like using a single base for each foot is clunky and weird as well.

I love the new Field Commander rule. It opens up new fun possibilities. But there were minor oversights.
- I don't understand the reasoning why the field commander doesn't change the rank. That would solve some issues. Though I don't think that it's a big deal for bounty atm. I guess most lists will still field at least an operative (R2, Padme or Maul).
- And it would have been a great opportunity to change Weiss and Wedge to Field Commander as well, giving all factions the option.

I’d like to see IG-88 come in plus BT-1/0-0-0 for Empire.

It is probably just to get ready for a future change, but there's nothing even rumored yet that seems like it would have any impact on.

You mean like how Edge Entertainment doesn't even have a functional website yet, and as far as I know hasn't put out any new RPG books? I'm not even certain they've put out a reprint yet...

More news:

I've been poking around on Facebook and a friend of Alex and the gang made it clear the dev teams were essentially purged. Alex, Mike, and Max are all gone. Luke has a chance to reapply, but the city is almost twice the cost, so not sure where that lands. 


I know it's very "My uncle works at Nintendo" but I did double check this person's friend list, and confirmed he was in contact with them. 

My new hope is to actually get an RRG this month after the announced restructuring.

My only issues with CP is
Price. It is alot more expensive than legion, the models look amazing though Card Design. Don't know if this has been improve but the unit cards were ugly in the core set. 

Like @DFocke I am not expecting any major changes to anything.  Likely all of the major staff will be making the move (I have a hard time imagining Alex and Luke not being part of the game anymore).  Price could maybe change, but they just recently made price changes, and I doubt this has any impact whatsoever on manufacturing.

My  understanding is the licensing fee is quite a bit more for the Marvel stuff, and that's why the price tag is so crazy. MCP is a super fun game though, and very thematic. Hopefully the designers will rub off on each other and improve each others' games.  I've always felt Legion was under-staffed and never able to keep up with design.

Bounty hunters and Tusken Raiders are cool, but this is exactly what I would want to play. I had a lot of fun playing all Droid and all Beast lists in Imperial Assault.
