  1. I wish the Player Turn reference cards matched the rulebook closer. I find myself looking in the rulebook for my options because the reference card doesn't list them all. For example, why not list 'Encounter Your Space' as an option? Why generalize by saying, "Resolve an encounter card" or "Resolve a contact token"? 3 | ENCOUNTER STEP - Choose 1: Encounter a Patrol: Required if you have negative reputation with a patrol in your space. Encounter Your Space: Draw an encounter card matching your space. Encounter a Contact: Reveal and encounter a contact token on your planet. Resolve an Encounter Ability: Resolve a card ability that is preceded by the word 'Encounter'.
  2. I'm glad you like it! As far as color is concerned, that is something I could update possibly. I'll see.
  3. Here is a character sheet combining all three Star Wars RPG lines https://drive.google.com/open?id=1crcuL82Dnff-n6DK7JVRy5vICPHGCgAU. Here is a color version https://drive.google.com/open?id=16oLP1FuQgNjywhyMo91HwS2qLrDzzIlZ. To really make this work, you'll also need to get some Specialization Talent Tree sheets and Force Power sheets. There are some really good ones here. Just grab the pages appropriate for your character and use the check boxes to keep track of your Talents and Powers. Let me know what you think! EDIT: Adjusted the Lightsaber skill so that the associated attribute can be noted by the player, since it can be changed. Also, added more flavor to the logos. Let me know which one you like best: Falcon or Tie Fighter?

  6. This is exactly my problem too. I spend most of my time playing The One Ring and I'm grateful there's an online character generator/server that stores the character sheets, etc. All you need is internet access and don't need to worry about Mac/PC issues. It would be amazing if someone would develop and host such a resource for FF Star Wars.
  7. I see! Would you like to see EVERY Talent and Force Power listed by name, along with upgrades? Or would you be satisfied with a generic set of sheets that contain enough slots for one character to list his own Talents and Force Powers? If so, how many slots would be enough for any character? I think I would prefer to attach a set of Talent Trees and Force Power Trees that only pertain to my character. I would want an explanation for each and I would want to be able to take notes.
  8. What exactly are you saying "absolutely not" to? Help me to understand your response. I need to know if giving room for notes on 4-5 Force powers is a good idea or should there be a whole separate page like the Talents checklist? If that's the case, I will just leave room to list Force powers by name on the main character sheet with a reference number. Then, a checklist of Force powers with room for notes could be added (just like Talents) as a supplement to the character sheet. Maybe that's the way to go. Does anyone know if there are fan-made checklists for Talents and Force powers? I would really like to see them.
  9. Thanks everyone! I have almost completed a combined character sheet. One last question: The FaD character sheet gives room to make notes on 3 Force Powers. Is that enough? Should I make more boxes than that? I think I have room for at least 4 or 5, but I don't know if that's unnecessary due to limits or rules, etc. Finally, if anyone could point me to the Talent sheets for Careers, I want to take a look at what has been made. I am imagining there is a checklist of talents for each specialization that a character has. If it's that good, I will use them as is. But, if not, I might want to create my own Talent Tree checklists that can be used by each player so they can make notes, etc. Or, we could just buy the cards FF has already made!
  10. That seems like a good idea. After looking at all three rulebooks this morning, it seems like all I would need to do is add Lightsaber and Knowledge (Warfare) as skills (as HappyDaze mentioned), add a Force Rating box, add a Duties section with a small box for Group's Contribution Rank, add a Morality section, take the Talents and Special Abilities section and convert it to a simple listing with page numbers and book reference (very little description, but encourage using Talent Sheets for Careers as whafrog has suggested), and add Force Powers. If I have any room left, maybe add a section for listing Group resources and notes. Question for experienced players: Does anyone ever use Obligation, Duty, and Morality at the same time? Or a combination? Or is the GM encouraged to stick to one for all players depending on the campaign focus?
  11. Unfortunately, not yet. I think for AoR, it'll be a matter of adding a couple of skills and changing the Obligation box. The same will be true of FaD, but I will need to add a Force rating box, I think. I don't know how important Force Power slots are. Could Force Powers be listed under "Talents and Special Abilities"? Need some advice...
  12. I could double the Talent section by adding a couple of columns and leaving less space for details. Hmmm. I want to try it out first. That might be something that isn't needed until characters are more experienced. As far as the skills Lightsaber and Warfare go, they could be penciled in if they do not affect most characters in EotE. I don't know yet, because we have not played it that much.
  13. That's super embarrassing! I honestly don't know how that even happened or how I didn't see it. I am ridiculous about spelling and grammar!!! Yikes. I fixed it. I'm not sure yet if I will be making a sheet for FaD or AoR. I'll see if my group likes the game enough to expand. Honestly, I made this because I couldn't find a form-fillable version I like (they always seem to be slightly off), and the official sheet isn't very attractive or printer-friendly to me. I designed this in Pages with text boxes so that I can type into it. Obviously, you cannot see them on the PDF.
  14. I shared this on the Compiled Resources List thread too, but I thought I would put it here as well for good reasons (searches, discussion, etc.). 15. I added a link to my google drive file that you should be able to access. So, please revisit and let me know if you like it! All I did for the first link was upload and attach the pdf file to the actual post. I tested it and it downloaded directly into my downloads folder. So, maybe it has something to do with your download settings? I am using a Mac. I don't know if that makes any difference.
  16. Here is an alternate character sheet I created, in case someone is looking for something different. Enjoy! Download here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uCy5ewXhupPkvAVF_owH5qOCTYRrJMGL.
  17. I'm actually getting MORE excited as they put out the previews. I am somewhat of a tinkerer though, and the one thing that I may consider making house rules for is the way that starfighters can only participate in space battles. After seeing The Force Awakens, X-wings and Tie Fighters are pretty cool in ground battles. I think I would give an option to assign the starfighters to either the space or ground arena, and I would force this choice at the start of every combat round. I'm not sure, but I might also think about an orbital bombardment option for capital ships too, but only if there are no opposing space units. I am saying this without having seen all the cards or fully understanding the game yet, however.
  18. This is something I was wondering myself. I would like to see more examples of features and how they might come into play.
  19. They brought me to the hospital by the way. It didn't quite happen the way I thought it would. While everyone was at home around my dining room table, I was at the grocery store a mile away getting cat food when the meteors hit my neighborhood. They ended up taking a truck to go find me and when they did I was just leaving the parking lot after being attacked by a crazed lunatic who tried to bite me. I had scratches all over my arm and face and I wasn't feeling very well. They were suspicious, but they got me to the ER anyway. They love me.
  20. I noticed the official character sheet uses a black background where the characteristic scores are circled, but the sheet in the back of the book uses a white background. I personally like the white background better. With the black background, it is hard to see those circles. I suppose I could just make photocopies from the book, but it sure would be nicer to have an official character sheet with a white background for those scores
  21. daddystabz, I haven't played any of those other games before, so I have nothing to compare this game to. So far, however, I like how simple it is. In regards to the dice, I wish the Star Wars system was similar using numbers rather than symbols (or a combination of the two). I can see the need for an even larger list of example tasks as well as more examples of positive and negative features to choose from. Maybe a huge random table of features for each characteristic can be developed so that players who are creating a fictional PC can simply roll for them. Each feature can include an explanation of how it can be used. Also, I will need to play first to determine whether or not the movement guidelines are any good. If not, I may create range bands similar to Star Wars if needed. It seems determining initiative is primarily controlled by the GM. Optionally, groups or individuals could perform a Dexterity test. Is that already in the rules? I can't remember. The most successes goes first. Ties mean simultaneous actions. I sure hope they make a Gamemaster's Screen for The End of the World with all the pertinent charts. Otherwise, I can re-type them onto cheat sheets easy enough so that I won't need to flip through the book during the game.
  22. I can see the need for less powerful zombies, such as small animals, etc. With this system, it would be very easy to customize. All the GM would need to do is reduce the number of Stress tiers by one or two. For example, a zombie rabbit might only have 1 tier of Stress instead of 3. This would make it much easier to kill with one shot. Also, some zombies might already have Stress by the time the PC's encounter them.
  23. Yes, I've read through the rules now a few times and I also understand it to mean that for every test you automatically get 1 positive dice for the characteristic being used. The characteristic's rating only serves as a target number for success. After that, you add positive dice for features, situations, tools, and sometimes weapons. The amount of positive dice you add for a weapon depends on its type and some weapons don't add positive dice at all because they are difficult to use. The system looks to be very streamlined and simple to use. I can't wait to get the first game in so that I can get a feel for it. I imagine that after awhile, more can be added to give players further examples for positive features, negative features, and types of tests, etc. I really love the scenarios too, and I can't wait to customize them for my location in Gilbert, AZ. I think I will start with the first scenario and make a PC of myself. All the other PCs will be at my house, but I won't be home yet. Then, I will arrive at the house to meet everyone else after being attacked by a zombie. They will be faced with the choice of killing me or letting me live. Can't wait to see what they do!
