  2. Hi Azrell I think if you look at the rules on P.59 you will see that Harikaridog is correct and that the specific example of 2 x Spray Symbols is not covered,, yes it explains a situation of Spray/2 but not the former
  3. have to say, a little disgruntled about the quality of the proofreading and editting
  4. felkor said: And remember that as long as both players agree, your terrain can have whatever effects you want. So if you want woods to not give cover for artillery, you can just decide that and play that way. Exactly …. I like that approach I hate it when rules are interpreted too literally and can spoil peoples enjoyment
  5. I'm guessing that the no-cover effect may have been a holdover from rules relating to the effects of Flamethrowers etc. The name 'spray' seems to be a bit of a clue to that. However in this case I think FFG have got it right to give targets of artillery type weapons cover save.
  6. There is some evidence to suggest that it was at some time considered that Spray Weapons would ignore cover as evidenced in the Nebelwerfer entry on Spray on p.113. However this is contradicted by the Spray definitions on P.58. nevertheless whatever the final decision on Spray, the Neb 42 seems to be a weapon that would always allow cover save.
  7. As an aside why on earth did FFG change the 4.2" of the Steel Rain to a 5/1 across the board reloadable weapon. The DT concept of 3/1 for each rocket allowing a single 12/1 non-reloadable shot seemed much better. rule simplification methinks, which actually leads to ambiguity on having two reloadable weapons
  8. That fixative is also a good surface on which to apply new decals if you need to. Direct application of decals to a matt primer usually leaves the unattractive 'silvery' edge of the decal film.

Why didn't FFG prime them in Russian black-green? I'm going to have to paint over each vehicle completely in black-green, very carefully (to avoid painting the pre-applied decals - as a modeler, I hate that feature). (I had to get Op. Zverograd for Tactics; I wanted Koshka and Gra'Ma, central to the comic.) (Speaking of babes from the comic, when do we get the Allied nurse model?) (Speaking of babes from the comic, when do we get the Allied nurse model?) hi guess you might already know this but Dust Models sell Decal Sets for Dust Miniatures. http://dust-models.com/products.php?nid=21 After a respray to a more appropriate colour I use these or other commercially available WW2 decals. my Allied Walkers are all in British Khaki Drab with British tactical markings., and most of my Germans are 21st Panzer Division in Mustard / green / red brown cammo
  10. yep in DT OZZ and Rhino are move 2 troops which equates to the 12" move of Warfare Unless FFG come out with some sort of FAQ to contradict then I willl play these guys as 12" movers.
  11. Dr.Cornelius said: The Walkers are unbalanced also. Consider Heinrich vs Wildfire Heinrich has additional 6" range Wildfire rolls one additional die vs infantry Wildfire is Fast Bottom Line: Wildfire is clearly superior, except in terrain with long LOS Ludwig vs Pounder Ludwig rolls one additional die against vehicles Pounder rolls 3 additional die against class 2 infantry, 1 against class 3 infantry Pounder has a turret (do not underestimate the value of 360 degree arc of fire- worth a few points at least) Pounder has Jump Bottom Line: off by at least 5 points what about the Mickey in this equation Fast, Jump and Self Repair for 35pts a bargain even with the 75mm howitzer…… i defy anyone to provide any logic to support the Walker points values.
  12. Yep, and that is with not one but four proofreaders…..

Action Jackson is a good example of a non-jet packed armoured Hero and his movement is 6" Or the Reapers and Hammers have the same heavy armour as Oz and Rhino and move 6" They are also jump packs not jet packs, that allow a model to jump, there is nothing in the rules that say jump pack troops move 12", all we have are 2 sets of conflicting move stats and either could be right. there is some fluff that seems to indicate higher speed, Quote on p.97 mentions materials stolenfrom the Axis Raketentruppen program to give Rangers enhanced speed and that the Rocket Packs were improved in Allied service to give a jump capability. i think it might be fair to assume the basic rocket pack gives the increased speed and the Jump attribute represents the rocket assisted jump mods. so these are Not Jump packs but modified Rocket packs however there is no definitive ruling to the movemnet question, but I think this one of several typos in the rules.
